The fact that it is the fact is so disheartening and depressing.

I think sales of the RGH were poor at least due to player discontent with the state of the game at that point.

We'd had months of nothing being delivered as PGI held all announcements til Mech Con and it was clear PGI's focus was on MW5 not MWO.

However, I can see from this thread that lore purists are against anything original being added to canon, and I guess that must have had an impact, too.

I feel bad for Alex though. He deserves better.

Someone from Reddit suggesting this maybe Hellhound from MW4 (MW4 version of Conjurer), that may be it.

I mean they did not make such comment on other mechpacks, only Roughneck.

It's prime example that the mech sales are primarily driven by nostalgia and rich folks from BT, not typical players.

Whatever she is, based on that picture, I think she's pretty. Which is honestly all I really need.

Its a new House Liao Frankenstein mech made up of various other IS mechs similar to the origin of the Cataphract. A much better backstory than a pallet loader with guns if you ask me.

Just a guess.

It really looks similar to the hellfire to me. Worst case scenario is it's the Turkey-nah.

I say let the falcons have their assault, we got like 1 wolf assault, 2 ghost bear assaults, 2 jaguar assaults, and 1 diamond shark assault.

First, it very much looks like an IS mech.

I don't think it looks like and stock load out of any prime variant of any canon mech. If I had to guess a canon mech, I would say it is a reworked Champion. There are several images https://community.ba...ads/9028?page=2

Whatever it is, it looks interesting bu I think its a stretch to a canon mech with a canon load out.

Bits seem to resemble a Black Hawk KU. For some reason it also makes me think of the Rakshasa.

On page 9.
Which is the previous page.

It wouldn't hurt to check. Posted Image

But yes, it doesn't really look like any canon mech, so it's probably a PGI-original.
Don't really have a problem with that myself, it's just that there are still other mechs i would've preferred to get

Some people need anti corrosive paint for their mechs. Too much salt.

If I had that much spare time to check every page in this thread before posting it, I'd be like a guy who spams a worn-out joke about "gimme quads" in every single thread in this forum. Oh wait...

And btw: "For those who haven't seen it yet", you know what these words mean? They are meant for people who may not have seen it or checked the entire thread.

Sure, if the thread was 30 pages long and the picture was buried 6 feet under on some deserted island.

But you'd literally only need to check 1 page back to get the same picture. But i guess that's a bit too difficult for some people Posted Image

What is this? That looks really, really close.

The Roughneck is a neat mech. I plan to pick one up whenever the C-Bill sale drops. Not sure why people are upset about new mechs being added; the books did it all the time.

Found picture on Sarna: Hellfire
http://www.sarna.net/wiki/Hellfire

Looks legit to me.

Oh, right. I forgot that unknowingly re-posting information is a criminal offense for you "Ackchually"-type nerds, to be punished with finger-pointing and sarcastic smiley-faces.

It looks pretty close, right. The Roughneck is an awesome mech that performs well and fills a good niche as a 65-ton brawler. It's worth the C-Bills.

The problem with new mechs lies within the crowd this type of game attracts. People who prefer living in the yesterdays and get their jimmies seriously rustled when some "non-lore" thing happens. Some act as if they need to cuddle up in a corner in a fetus position. It's the same with the Star Wars/Star Strek nerds who get autistic seizures when a new movie hits. First-world problems, the definition is here.

I don't understand where the problem with new mechs is. We can be happy there even is a game like this out there and HG was not able to burn it to the ground. Give the designers some credit and let them make their mark on the franchise. YOu don't need to buy or play it, move on. And don't cry because "muh favorite mech" has not been picked this time, geez.
