So a long long time ago I got Nvidia Dawn in the special giveaway in the early days of MWO... I get comments such as.. awesome... where did you get that ... blah blah blah.

Now tomorrow they are giving them to everyone who plays (unless you just can't manage a win ever)

Bye bye special Dawn, it was a good ride but now you are no longer special

You are now dead to me as I will have 2 of you come tomorrow and you are no longer unique!

Yup. Faction play event earlier this year (September?) and I think a couple other times as well since the original. I’ve only been around since 2015 and I have at least 2, and I often don’t get through all the events, so there may have been more than that.

Also, am i the only one that doesn't understand the appeal of the items 'staying unique'?
I mean your cake won't become less tasty just because somebody else is eating the same kind of cake.

Right? How will they tell your founder's tag apart from anyone else's founder tag if just anyone can have a fairy bobble head?

You never paid money for the bobble head, and they didn't promise they wouldn't eventually give it out again. Now if you HAD paid money for it, that would be a legitimate gripe. Like giving out more Sarah's Jenners or Founders mechs.

IIRC, the nvidia dawn item was never advertised as exclusive or anything. It was just never for sale. So there's no exclusivity being lost.

Uhh, i'm pretty sure i have all 3 alienware heads despite not getting them originally.

Not even sure how i got them to be honest. I swear, i have so many cockpit items i've never used nor have any recollection of obtaining, it's mindboggling.

Yar... its gotten silly now. Really wish we could sell them back for CBills at least.

IIRC the Alien heads came from an AlienWare online promo code ages ago.



but.... that damn cheerleader is still my bane and biggest regret. I knew I should have bought that frigging special edition grid iron HAH!
Was really opening they would have retextured her and released a red cheerleader with the Linebacker or something.. but no... some lame assed helmet....

Actually they did, around the first time the gave out Nvidia Dawns for the first time as game rewards, and not a magazine code
