I love this mech concept, it looks seriously awesome.

Suggestion! Utilize the steam workshop in a way that warframe does (warframe is massively successful, so there is much to learn from them)

Enable modders to create custom mechs, snap on geo(once implemented), and possibly even skins . Every few months, introduce a item from the workshop by popular vote, to the in game store. Adjust pricing based on modder receiving portion of profit (this content would be real currency purchasable only), balance mech where necessary and vuala. New content, and free easy money. Modders would have to create the content themselves, and only the most well thought out creations with the highest community support would be chosen.

This would bring the modding and art community (which is in abundance) into mechwarrior, as well as give a second method of content implementation. Providing a two factor boost to the game.

Catalyst dearly needs to take all these PGI robots and put them into a TRO to give them a lore framework. At this point, there's enough for a mini-TRO of all the Heroes + the unique [Roughneck and Sun Spider.

The guys on the Battletech forum are doing some custom (and excellent) TROs.

Mods will be possible in the MW5, not in MWO (a multiplayer game).

The lore is good, but I think it needs a bit of polish.
1. Laser color, of course.
2. Some slight adjustments in the wording and pacing on the tech development of the Sun Spider. Not everyone figured out on the first read through that it was a design made in secret to be Goliath Scorpion's first OmniMech, but wasn't completed before Goliath Scorpion was able to capture existing OmniMechs.
3. In the story and in the tech background, a Sun Spider Prime is being used. Can we have a little blurb about how Sun Spider Prime "Manul" becomes Sun Spider ML "Manul"? It might be a bit cliche, but how about having Prime Manul take serious damage in battle and, like its pilot, have its original limbs weapon slots replaced with different ones.

maybe if MWO was set in the age of "Age of Destruction" then adding new mechs to battletech/MechWarrior would have players being less pitchforks and torches an more accepting of new mechs,
