Losing Pretty Much Every Single Match

I seem to be losing easily 90% of games i drop in, in solo queue. Its really obvious though that the matches are mixing tiers (nothing at all against T5 as i know many of them are pretty damn good).
But with long wait times finding a match and by watching other players there are clearly some polar skill gaps. The last two weeks it seemed as if our blue team were fighting challenger 2 tanks and IFV's with land rovers and bicycles the games have been that decisive and honestly pathetic. Reliably and consistently too.
I haven't got a problem with losing games or dying but when match after match after match is just stomps there has to be something very wrong with the core of the game... Nothing anywhere near a 50/50 balance.
...Or does it just hate me.
Try hard, QQ'ing over. ;-)

I find the annihilator is easiest mech to carry your team with. It gives you the best chance of affecting the outcome of the game on your own.

Long story short: I observed long losing streaks, periods of no particular pattern of winning or losing, and some long winning streaks. At the end of 400 matches, I had roughly the same win/loss ratio as when I started measuring.
So I concluded:
1. We feel the losing streaks more keenly when they are happening to us.
2. Winning streaks you tend to notice less.
3. Not even the very best players in the game - including those we just saw at MechCon - can personally prevent a potato team from losing.
But:
4. If I go Full Meta Carry Mech in TryHard mode, I can turn some of the close matches into wins.
5. If I try to level sub-optimal Mechs, or fun builds, I will cause some close matches to be lost.
What do about it:
When you're in a losing streak, all you can do is take your best Mech and try. Or, just walk away for a while and do something fun.
On a more philosophical level, if more of us tweet Russ about resetting the tiers, using an algorithm that isn't weighted towards constant advancement, and that we're playing less because of the parlous matchmaking, maybe he will feel become aware of the problem and feel motivated to do something about it.

Good luck on that. I have sent more than my share of such suggestions and nothing changed.

This season you are indeed a bit behind by only having a win-ratio of 0,89 but it ain't that bad when looking at the raw numbers:
Out of 106 matches you have won 50, so you only stay 6 losses behind the expected value of 1. I'm sure you will compensate this with a winning streak at some point if you keep playing.
As Appogee wrote loosing streaks are remembered much better than winning streaks so don't worry. You are not loosing 90% of your matches, it's only about 53%.

Seems like population is that low during prime hours too. 10:41PM EST was the game for the post I made in another thread. Near the peak according to Steam charts (which is all we have to go by, since they have no other counter to check activity at any given time). Two .5 K/D on my team, 7+ K/D on the other.
But, “Stay the course, thousand points of light. 10% Range boost on an underperforming chassis...yeah, that will make everything better.”

Now that's interesting and i thank you for making the effort to check it out. And yeah it would appear the stats do seem to paint a very different picture to what i'm experiencing on a daily basis.
I can pretty much pinpoint all the blame on the introduction of the PSR system. While many complained that the old ELO was a poor system i can clearly remember that games were much more fairly balanced.
As one of you has pointed out maybe the population numbers have something to say about it which case i would expect a larger chunk of the community to experience 'extremes' in either way more frequently as the player base begins to shrink. I can't quantify that without doing the cliche refer to steam but it must be. Waiting times getting longer and longer etc, match quality degrading noticeably would lead me to believe that a lot of the pro's and die hards have 'retired' or given up.
I do every now and then have to take some meta mechs out just to have some form of success and be a try hard.
So should we play stat warrior and play the best mechs (weirdly my mech with the best stats by a big margin is a king crab 000B).

Tried to play just 3 matches today:
1) HPG Manifold Domination - good map, but...complete stomp. Enemy team simply rushed at us without any fear of taking fire in return and stomped us. I was dead within one minute. No chances.
2) ALPINE PEAKS ESCORT???????? @@@_@@@ Alt+F4. Just Alt+F4.
3) Polar Highlands Domination? Mehhh.
No surprise, that this game loses more and more players. Devs don't even try to keep those, who still play this game.

Many average players routinely experience 10-25 losses in a row and there's NOTHING average players can do when the tier 1 killers can't influence the battles in their years developed playstyles and meta mechs....even if they feel like communicating with the overal team (other than screaming at noobs and potatoes.) If they can't swing a battle Lad, no one expects you to be better and its not on you that MM is that broken..... 23 losses the other day. A few months ago, and I've written about it before in this forum, 14 straight losses on the same map (HPG) with several players being on the same losing team ! (MM density at the time of play and possibly some unintentional sync-dropping...)
I'll be here no matter what my W/L is and you should stay the course.....

See I have the opposite experience. I started in closed beta (this is secondary account) and ended up quitting over exactly what you are experiencing - excruciating losing streaks no matter how well you play. And with the old elo system new players were dropped right into the middle of the matchmaker, which resulted in skilled experienced players being constantly teamed up with people still coming to grips with a torso that rotates independently of the legs. It was, for me, a showstopper. When I asked the devs about this I was essentially told, "what do you want us to do with the new players?"
Since returning to the game (shakes angry fist at Baradul) I have not seen the types of relentless steamrolling I used to experience, sure some real potato teams, people afraid to get their mech scratched, and a fair share of people who think cowering to death is a viable strategy, but I have yet to go on a losing streak more than 3 or 4 matches since returning, which I realize is anecdotal but that is the topic at hand, feeling like a losing loser that loses.

You didn't carry that game, it was the dude below you with 600 damage and a moderate level of accuracy to score 4 kills, and to assist with 4 others. 1440 damage and one kill is atrocious

no it was clearly the guy that did 20 damage that carried the team the most
he was MVP

not when you also get 6 KMDD
the other guy just stole 2-3 of my kills because my slowass annihilator cant chase enemies down to finish them off. they wouldnt have died though if I hadnt cored them open with my damage.
I definitely carried the team that game.

ofc with that much damage you would get KMDD, if you didn't, the only logical explanation would be that you murdered your own team!

I just checked my stats, and i am at an abysmal .37% win/loss. talk about a bad loosing streak.. You can check my previous stats, i never had a streak like this last this long outside of when i first started. My match scores have basically been in the top 3 of most matches, though oddly a bunch that i actually won i didn't do much. I guess the other team was the ones that got rolled so fast before i could even get in a couple shots it the were already down 5+ mechs. In the last year i've defiantly improved as well.
Last night i had a few teams where people vocally asked.. are you people intentionally doing things to loose. So many times a couple mechs in eyesite, and the team just scatters to god knows where. Nascar has been so bad as of late too..
Even when people talk, or call targets, nothing. I know i try to at least call targets, but half the time i don't even bother. you can look at the map and know this match is already over. I don't get it.
