I just upgraded earlier this week to an RX570 GPU and was getting the known "unrecognized GPU" message and when clicking "OK" was still having sporadic (a couple times a night) crashing known issues until this patch. Now I can't get through a match without a MWO crash. Game is unplayable. I've tried all the advise on the net and forums for a workaround and reported it to AMD. Also note: auto crash report returns bad email addy for PGI. All other games work fine.
*Fresh install of driver with CC-Cleaner to be sure the old drivers are gone.
System:
MSI Armor RX570 4GB AMD driver: Driver 17.12.1 12-10-17
AMD FX 6-core CPU
16 GB DDR5 RAM
Windows 10 - 64
Help please?

I am experiencing the same issues with an older radeon card. it's killing my games nearly every time I launch.
I've installed the newest drivers, gone back to old drivers that used to work, no dice.
I have Win 10 64 bit as well. Last Windows update seemed to have a bad effect on MWO also.

I have a fix now.
I did a clean install of this driver: http://support.amd.c...ease-Notes.aspx and disabed the XboxDVR via RegEdit and it did the trick. Have played for 3 days without a crash. I still get the "unsupported GPU" message at launch, but now after clicking past it the game functions perfectly, even at high video settings. Good luck guys.

Well, it almost worked for me. Client seems a little more stable, but I'm still getting crashes at the end of the matches. It's pretty depressing. I'll try more old drivers and hope for the best.
