Anyone else having trouble with patching?

Tried the manual download, the MWO Portal, and the ol' MWO Client/patcher...

It's like dying... Everything else I'm connecting to is flawless...

I can't download either. It stopped about 1/5th of the way through and won't move.

Downloaded easily with no issues via Steam Client.

I have the same problem when I ask it to look for the downloaded cache .zip file, so maybe it's a launcher issue?

Ugh, now I'm really screwed. I uninstalled the game, but I can't re-download it. mwoportalinstaller is convinced that the portal is still on the computer, and won't reinstall.

So, while I try to track down the cause of downloading issue, this might help you out: if Windows thinks the game is still installed but won't let you get rid of it, you can run the fixer provided by Miscrosoft:

If that doesn't resolve the issue, let me know and I'll dig deeper into the problem.

To hop on the bandwagon...

has anybody noticed veerryyyy sloooww download speeds for the past two patches cycles and their hotfixes? Talking 1 hour+ just to hotfix, when it normally takes like 30 seconds. Seems to affect both the patcher, as well as the manual download link provided in the patch notes. And it's not on my end, downloading things from other sites was fine.

nope, both the patch and hotfix downloaded and installed without problem. Didnt even see the download bar, took just a sec then went straight to install. Fastest patch I ever done in fact...
