Of the mechs I use the most:

SHC-MI: 377.1 Average Damage. Is used almost exclusively for scouting.

(Note: Been using the SHC in quickplay a lot more lately and, if it doesn't get punked early on, often deals 500-700 damage with a fair bit of reliability if it gets a chance to use its ammo up. Estimated quickplay average is around 500 to 550.)

HMN-PA: 340.5 Average Damage. Is used almost exclusively for scouting.

HMN-PRIME: 447.5 Average Damage
NCT-PRIME: 582.7 Average Damage
SNV-1: 669.4 Average Damage
SNV-A: 647.5 Average Damage

Mechs used for scouting tend to have lower averages, due to fewer targets of opportunity. Curiously, I seem to run low on ammo with similar frequency in QP vs Scouting, but there's a significant bump in damage output despite this. Could be related to having to deal with larger mechs with more health points and my obnoxious propensity to go after far larger targets than me in any given game. XD

1200 damge is a good score in fp dispite the players who say you need to break 2k every match before you belong there. the players who can actually do that are somewhat rare.

Canon fodder users break 2k a lot of times and whine a lot.
