It's possible that someone made a slight typo because there's a 36-Hour Window allocated for that Holiday Bonus Event. Just keep your eyes on the Website for changes in details.

Or they had a severe non-presence of the various non-damage actions during the battle. PGI turned down how much that Damage can have an effect on Match Score. But yeah, 'Friendly Fire' aka 'Team Damage' can also hurt it rather badly, likely taking away at least a ratio of "1 MS for every 1 TD" from your earnings. Also, if you're in Faction Invasion Mode (as in, the Warfare), losing all your mechs in your Drop Deck can totally destroy your Match Score currently. PGI really does need to fix that, and only dock your Match Score after you've lost your very last Mech. Otherwise, these Events like what we have going on will just drive people away from Faction Invasion and back into Quick Play, if not out of MWO altogether.

Wait for the weekend. I am sure more people will show up for invasion during that time. If you cannot wait that long, there is always scouting.

I had several "good" scouting missions, but fell short of MS every time. 250 MS is only achievable if you get a bunch of damage by having your teammates die early.

FW? Too much Siege, no thanks.

I will pass on the prize mech and will just enjoy the QP lootbags.

getting a MS in scouting can be a real pain sometimes. Hit and miss at best. UAVs help as do (unfortunately) Streaks. If you're chasing MS, double UAVs and carry streaks. I loathe saying it, but if yours chasing achievements.. you have to play the mechanics game and not the meta.

like I said it looks like pgi is trying to kill fw and only have qp as if people new to the fw will have a chance to get that score so they will they then quit. not to say if they wait 20 min just to get a match

Notice the Christmas Bell warhorn is a repeat as well, but at least a second one of those is actually useful.

Only reasonable explanation is just to allow a second option to claim one in case the first chance was missed during the Advent Calendar Event. IMO a decal is a great reward for Advent, but not so much for 150 Loot bag mark. . Its just t hat there is a hell of a lot more effort put into 100 loot bags vs the one Advent day. Feels underwhelming for the time it takes to do 100 matches.

I have to say you are doing a nice job listening and adopting to the feedback given from previous events. The last Pick-a-Mech event I did not do since the Faction-Play was weighted equally to the QP events which meant an insane amount of time. Glad you changed the ratio of FP to hand out double over that of QP.

P.S. Still awaiting your LURMageddon and PewPew events.

every one who thinks 250 match score is a good idea should be fired from pgi for Stupidity this will not get new playes just make some more older players quit playing fw

Would much prefer 200 matchscore for FP, so atleast scouting is a bit more viable on a loss.

Played around 8/9 matches, encountered the weirdest builds and teammates, hit 250 matchscore once.
Plenty of scores between 220 and 247, ofcourse.

Scouting is not supposed to be a viable way to obtain the bags. Invasion is.

THE 250 matchscore for Faction Play will promote BAD games.

a normal fp can get you 200+, but being and *** with not 1 dead you get 400-600 matchscore.

if you can lower to 200-220 will help allot.

It's viable in the list and takes a lot less time than trying to get 250 in invasion matches which can last half a lifetime.
