It sucks that some units out there actively avoid fights. I wish they would try harder. They should know not to break the CoC by not participating (and running around the map hiding).

Good thing I record all matches and will be editing them and sending them through to PGI.

Look, some teams can't win a fight. That's a simple reality. Not against anything but new pugs.

So they work hard on finding ways to rush objectives.

However it's the better teams responsibility to adapt and still win. That doesn't make the bads not bad - people who base rush on incursion for example is really, really candyass. However you can't blame bads for being bad. You needs to adapt to them and win anyway.

Just remove them from friend list so they dont see you're in lobby. Ez.

Maybe you should reread the Code of Conduct. Moving around a map to gain a tactical advantage is neither idling in the spawn zone nor aiding the enemy.


It's get real tiring that you (and others) get really upset/angry when people in a game where there are objective wins...

get angry/salty/hateful when people don't want to play "Team Deathmatch" with you in the way you want them to..


I am pretty sure that most people don't care about their K/D and W/L.. cause ... they just don't.. SURPRISE!


Please stop:

1) Naming and shaming + Defamation on other social media.

2) Threaths of reporting (On grounds that don't exist)

3) Forumwarrioring whith angry and salty remarks (Yes your above comment is salty)

If you're on attack and you never attack you're indirectly aiding the enemy by allowing a successful uncontested defense.(if you're going to rule lawyer you better step up the game some)
This is not moving around the map to gain terrain advantage or fire superiority, it is an effort to purposefully waste the game so that the team they face do not have any fun; since, you know, if they can't play the way they want and obj rush/dz camp no one else gets to either!

That being said - the whole point of the OP was to encourage teams to fight it out vs immediately dunking the objectives when playing against pugs.

Understood. You guys are all just looking for for PUGs in CW. Quite nice of you. You would rather they are famed to 48 instead of just getting it over with.

Might do PUGs better in CW, event or not, if you took them under your wing and showed them how not to be farmed or get dunked by playing timidly. Show them the benefit of not being a pug. Show them how teamwork and coordination will win the day instead of playing QP with respawn.

So, Clan pilots, invite pugs into your groups and show them the ropes.

IS pilots, swap to Clan side and invite those Clan pugs into your group and show them what they need to know.

Now.. I can't find Ash' post... did he delete it?

But he was not complaining about that...

If I remember correctly he claimed some teams were moving around on Polar or Alpine so they were hard to kill.


I get that during an event that ... people who don't normally play FP would maybe appreciate a firefight instead of a zergrush.


But.. maybe I'm wrong... But I guess like 5 units can accomplish this on attack maps... (Incursion is something different)

My post was talking about a team defending Sulferous Rift.

We were attacking. Defending team had Scanner Sweep.

- We opened 2 gates wave 1
- Alternated to another gate for wave 2, as you do.
- Defending team chose to drop run out the opposite gate(s) and then use Scanner Sweep to avoid fighting us for the next 4-5-6mins.
- Accusing, us, the attacking team - of apparently wasting their time? While they were running around the map not fighting/defending or otherwise.
- There was no "moving around the map to gain better angles" it was flat out not participating in the match.

This is not the first time it's happened either.

I will happily teach players/units on tactics/loadouts/skill maze etc. Offer is always there, I'm not angry or upset, just disheartened "teams" "play" like this, if you can call it that.

So basically you're saying that people shouldn't have to learn to play, they should be taught? What about the people who want to learn on their own? or the people who refuse to learn?

I learnt everything I know from Critical Thinking (Trademark pending) and a small amount of advice from 3-4 people, I didn't need to be babbied and taught how to not do 0 damage or how to not rush like a suicidal clown to die in a meat grinder, I just did it once and figured "Hey, this sucks and doesn't work, how about DON'T DO IT AGAIN.

Learn however you want to but you can only go so far without needing to be taught more by those that know more as you just said you got advice from others.
