Seriously, bring the beefiest mechs you got. Not only will it help your teammates win, it also helps everyone get PGI's dumb 250+ match score requirement if there is more potential damage to inflict. I've seen several games now where even the winning team couldn't get 250+ because the enemy died too quickly.

And try not to blow yourself up overriding. That's just rude.

Invasion has the opposite problem for me, since I then have to deal with teammates who bring LRMs and trial mechs to Siege and getting seal-clubbed by 12-man groups.

Also, scouting is actually fun.

Spoiler

Wait a minute... IS means "Inner Sault" ?

We were tired of IS skillboats and switched to try these babies. No animals were harmed.

p.s. #NoStormcrowsAllowed
p.s.s Forgot to add this:

Spoiler

Looks like Clan Scout Drop Deck must be nerfed to 25 tons for IS players comfort.

Nah, just didn't want to keep playing the same 4-man as a pug over and over again. It wouldn't have been so annoying if it weren't for this stupid match score requirement. Staying alive long enough to do 400+ damage against a coordinated group is not going to happen when you try to lead from the front.

I can understand this point. But why you were blaming us for your lack of premade group? Ask ur buddies for help, or recruit and teach new players, or get uber mad skillz and git guts.

p.s. I agreed that 250 mscore for Scouting Matches is silly: 200 for 1 stocking and 250 for two, thats will be fair enough.

Individual mad skills don't get you anywhere when you have to intentionally gimp yourself to meet the damage requirement. I certainly wouldn't be running a streak boat if I actually wanted to win. Actual decent builds kill the enemy too quickly and efficiently to get the required damage numbers. And most of my unit members have left the game long ago.

And it wasn't the fact that you were a premade that was most annoying. It was the fact that you picked builds specifically to counter the most reliable way to get sufficient damage in scouting, and that's SUPER ANNOYING.

We kinda do need a better way to report players who are obviously griefing.

Just had a match where the guy $%$ all 7 other players. His team suffered because he just sat and hid. Our team suffered because we had less to shoot at and wasted a bunch of time finding him. And when we did find him, he ejected before we could close range.

And while all 7 of us reported him, not sure it'll do any good...

lights should have a place in scout mode..

Lights do have a place in regular FW scout mode...an extremely important place.
Lights do not, however, have a place in holiday loot-bag scout mode requiring 250MS. At least not at this time in MWO.

I totally agree with you that lights should be able to win scout by objective victory and net a 250 match score.... because that is scout mode. Unfortunately its not that way for some reason.

Even in regular scouting, winning by objectives pays too little to be worth it. Brawls pay so much better, even on a loss.
