What Do You Do With Mechs That Have Tons Of Exp?

And I'm not really sure what to do with it.
Converting that much exp is wickedly expensive.
So do I let that exp just sit?

Unless you want to be a mad man and pay to convert it to SP, and truly max your mech out.

That would just make me broke fast. lol.
I wish there was just ONE xp currency. This would streamline mech leveling.
Such as if only SP existed and it was accumulated to your character rather than your individual mech chassis.

they should just get rid of xp completely. get rid of skill points too.
just let us buy skill nodes directly with cbills and/or MC
and convert any existing XP/GXP people have into cbills/MC respectively
we dont need 6 different currencies.... we only need 2.

You aren't a quadriple-iple-A f2p title unless you have a half dozen currencies and xp systems and loot boxes to attempt to additionally monetize your already expensively priced f2p game content.

it does however mean if you unlock nodes, you can turn them on and off again with only 400 xp. so having xp on your mech means you can make quick changes to the skill tree for a bare minimum cost. thats about it. lessening the cost to keep up with changes in meta and quirks.
i still have about 3k gsp left from the refund of doom, dispite buying and insti-mastering every mech that has come out for cbills (and a few i bought) since then. i expect to have over a million gxp by the time i run out.

You could always try piloting another 'mech, a different variant perhaps. Maybe even something that's more of an underdog, the Vindi's never seem to get enough love.
Or, If you're so attached to your MCII-4, you could sell it, buy another one and master it from nothing again... I believe the CoD crowd refer to this as 'prestige mode'.

That’s all.
Just keep playing them because either they are really good/fun mechs (after all you wouldn’t have all that excess XP if they weren’t) that are either nerf proof or haven’t yet been nerfed sufficiently for you to abandon them. Just play them and be happy that the darts haven’t hit their grid yet. Don’t worry about the XP. When PGI does get around to breaking your build you can then use the XP to re-node the mech to focus on a new build assuming you don’t want to waste reserve GSP.

But yeah, converting XP is only a minor convenience that just aint worth it when i can take a bone stock mech with 0 XP (assuming i can get some sort of metaish loadout on it) and get over 500 dmg pretty reliably.
