IS won more matches. IS lost the event.
What the hell?
It looks like PGI doctores with the data.
I would rather lose every event than question every data from here on.
As I already said in the Faction Play Topic on Siege mode.
There were some great points made by IS and Clan Players.
Cheers
It would appear that you may not be completely aware of what occurred. Originally Tharkad was a stalemate/tie, Clans did not win but IS did force a stalemate/tie. Then after the effect had ended Matt discovered that his attempt to prevent a stalemate/tie with the ToW bar did not work because he entered a number the system could not work, he entered 0 instead of 1 but he did not double checked his work. If he had, Win conditions for both sides would have crowded the middle of the bar where every FP session starts.
And A9 comment about the tug-of-war (ToW) is about the day after the event ended Matt came back, explained he frak up about the setting of the win condition and awarded the event to the Clans, again after he "MOVED" the finish line when the event was already over with. Surprisingly there was less flak from that than there was when Luthien event ended with a stalemate/tie after the IS forces pushed back with 23 wins (1%/battle) but done at a non-US primetime hour. For Tharkad IS forces was only able to push back with 6 wins, but using the standard FP ToW bar they only needed 4 wins (3%/battle) for a stalemate.

IS Win/Loss Ratio: 9339/8145 = 1.45
Clan Win/Loss Ratio: 8145/9339 = 0.87

Math is too difficult for some who work in a profession that requires it .. 9339/8145 =

there seems to be a few issues
1) who won I say the Clans
2) stats
thanks to PGI for providing the stats
maybe next time the end of the event triggers a play off between the top IS vs Clan teams
what do you think about this idea

I kinda like it, but a good match up of say talons vs dg12 or SROT, or evil v kcom v ms would be a preferable outcome rather than say ms v talons or lodd v kcom etc etc. It might be cool in theory but if one side were stacked at the end then no reason the last battle would be any closer. ..

And if you REALLY wanted to encourage loyalty to factions you could have a multiplier for all faction based warfare rewards based on some combination of rank and continuous service with the faction.

If anyone has some kind of explanation or can point me to a youtube explanation with graphs and things. Maybe Morgan Freeman xD
Sound like another reason to not get involved.
Cheers

The real big thing is that faction play is basically decided by the biggest units and so means that less and less casual players play the game pretty much making it a self fulfilling prophecy.
Lastly special events means that people should not be farming the rewards so swapping aides should not be a thing during the challenge or else it becomes like QP.
Questions:
Does this not mean that sizes of temas needs to be limited to make things competitive?
Should not the rules be clearer on what and how to win? People seem confused
Was this a success? Did it get more players playing FP?
Just quoting the stats does not really answer these questions

This is an interesting concept! Not perfect, mind you, because you would need both sides to have a similar number of "Loyalist" members. Still, I like it in general!
ALSO, I WANT TO GIVE A BIG THANK YOU TO PGI FOR POSTING THE STATS FOR THE EVENT. We Steiners appreciate you listening! o7

Was thinking about that. Which planet had become the temporary LCAF capitol after the initial fall of Tharkad, and did said system fall to the Clans?
