tharkad stats

IS Win/Loss Ratio: 9339/8145 = 1.45

Clan Win/Less Ratio: 8145/9339 = 0.87


clan confirmed OP lol


Since this clever, deep minded and intelligent playerbase that populates these forums still thinks clans are OP, there must be some sort of voodoo that makes clanners lose twice as much as IS

nah, i was only there to carry some 4k and 5k games, but apparently was not enough

All this tells me is that most of the big merc units went IS for the event. Merc units and our teamwork OP.

EDIT:

Having looked at the stats, the reason becomes even clearer. There were 4.5x as many Scouting Matches as there were "Siege" matches (the term by which I think the Community Manager actually meant "all Invasion modes except Scouting").

IS has the competitive advantage in Scouting, thanks to Assassin, Bushwacker and Griffin... particularly in an event where there was an objective of achieving a certain damage/match score, not just winning.

From what I understood some big clanners whet to the IS side and thats why the numbers were flipped to favor the IS side.

IS dominated scouting because Clan pilots are incredibly bad and without a significant tech advantage, which in scouting they really don't have.

However even with all the units in IS the Clans still win the great majority of invasion matches. That's how bad it was.

(MS) played as IS every day except for the last two days and helped the IS to steamroll Clans. Once (MS) switched to Clans in the last two days, Clans won those days. So yeah, Mercs OP. Posted Image

We had three drop ships full of unit members during prime time.

IS is just OP because of the low heat high dmg but low range weapons. When you can charge in, your doing like 50% more dmg in the same time. Clan gets nerfed every patch - and now they overnerfed it.

Btw. the IS math is wrong so grab yourself a calculator and recalculate the numbers - hint: it is not 1.45...

No.

Clan mechs still have better burst DPS, better sustained DPS and better damage per tic.

Given that you're usually doing 20 more damage per trigger pull the +8 health over 3 locations that IS mechs have isn't that useful.

Clans have dominated every season of FW for a reason.

That 1.45% is actually 1.14659%.. looks like someone dropped a 1...Matt, was this you? Posted Image You and your ones.. Posted Image ... IS has an extra win due to having 1 more ghost drop than the Clans. Unknown how many ghost drops there may have been overall.

And you did see that Steiner now holds Tharkad, hai? Cannot wait for that explanation, but it is likely due to Matt furbar the initial Tharkad setup, not being aware of it until AFTER the event ended, thus changing it from a Clan win to a stalemate/tie.

Edit.. Just to add, if Tharkad ToW had been setup the same way as Luthien's, the Clans would have still won instead of it being a stalemate/tie. With those battles then being worth 1%, the Clans would have had it with 94% (6 battles won) since 90% would have been the winning mark. FYI Luthien had pulled it back from the abyss by 23 battles, the ToW ending at 77%.

If IS won more total invasion matches I'm all for it being an IS win. The whole "whoever wins the last 2 hours wins the event" crap always bugged me.

What's sad is only 2 merc units flipped and that was enough to massively swing the bar.

IS won the majority in invasion *and* scouting though.

Saw that. So call it an IS win, I was just bemoaning that population was so low that two merc units is enough to completely swing the event.
