Recent changes/bugs/whatever you want to call it have resulted in dropships which deploy forces to now fire upon enemy mechs in Incursion Mode.

But.. Drop ships has always been able to fire at enemy mechs near the LZ. Altho have not confirmed whether this is across all game modes of fw, I know it's been there since 2 years back when I first played. Have used and been against teams using the LZ drop ship as additional firepower

When Incursion first went live, dropships delivering fresh troops were not programmed to fire upon enemy mechs.
Seems like they're doing that now, yet there was nothing in the patch notes about this.
Hence why I said something...so that the poor hapless person not paying attention doesn't find himself stumbling through an enemy base only to get alpha'ed in the face! XD
