I keep leaving MWO and coming back now and then to see if anything has changed for the better, but it never has.
I play for a month or two. I complain about the game to my wife, who keeps telling me to quit the game like she did. My blood pressure goes up whenever I play, and I generally become an annoying person to live with.
But I still keep coming back...

Recently, trying to login to the game gives me a BSOD. At first I was annoyed then I played other games in my spare time and actually enjoyed them.
So now I have decided that the BSOD is a good thing and I'm (hopefully) quitting MWO forever.

First I'd like to thank pgi.
Thank you for the first couple of years where you gave me hope of a great future for Mechwarrior, before that hope turned into a what could have been.
Also, if not for MWO I probably would never have heard about Mechwarrior: Living Legends, so I am grateful for that too.
I think it takes money and passion to create a great game. Pgi got the money and Wandering Samurai had the passion. It's a pity that both could not come together to create something great.

Anyone who knows me from my time on these forums knows there's a lot I'd like to say about MWO and pgi, but I think anyone is past caring by now...or those who agree with the things I talk about have mostly moved on.

Anyway, to those still playing, whether because your hope still clings on or because you enjoy what gameplay there is, I wish you luck.

Wolfways.

Kaetetôã is a planet in an unknown location. It has no known connection to the Inner Sphere or any region of space known to humanity, and was reached only by accidental misjumps

"Blue screen of death." It was Microsoft's first new feature after copying Mac's OS.

No one just quits MWO. Once you in to something Battletech - it's there forever.
