OK, that has to be the funniest things a pilot has ever said after a 12-2 stomp that should have gone into the history books.

This thread is about "one of those moments" when all you can do is laugh, walk away from your computer and read a good book....

Two SNA LRM boats, un-damaged that did nothing but shoot buildings on the Frozen map: litterialy. Two or was it three heavies that did not move from behind a building and actually caused more team damage than enemy damage by shooting themselve trying to see who could get the best shooting angle and collission damage, oh my: "get out of my way you hoser" brought down the house. A light mech that said: and I quote: "oooops....." not once but twice when that pilot hit the wrong buttons it seems for artillery stikes and struck himself and everyone around him, twice..... A medium pilot that actually got turned around and entered our base and said: "hey guys, their turrents are down !!!" and started shooting......another pilot had to remind him that he was on his own base.......another, oops...... We lost and then a pilot said: "well, it could have been worse" and the rest of the players just couldn't stop laughing......

What was your: "It could have been worse" match?

The closest I can recall is the 4 SPL Cic-3M sniper incident.

Dude thought he was doing awesome, "I'm the last alive and in my first mech, the enemy can't even find me to shoot at me."

He was more or less bouncing out of cover on the upper base firing every chance he got, didn't realize the enemy wasn't engaging him because he was so far from a threat people would just walk directly away from him to chase everyone else.

Ended the match with 120 damage across 4 mechs and 0 kill assists. Don't think I saw that guy in a single match after that.

just yesterday.

A guy running a jenner iic{A} loaded up with 2 ERLarge in scouting. We did okay at first, banged up most of their guys but mostly in the torsos and CT's and then died. The only guy left was this tiny jenner. Our friend here decided to snipe their legs (gimped 3 out of 4 enemy mechs. its was funny just watching them hobble along trying to chase after him at 40kph) and collecting where he could. Ended up with 10 intel and the dropship came down. He used that bloody dropship as cover (drop ship killed a guy too) but that last missile from a dying kinatro killed the little guy about 3meters from the extraction point.

It was more enjoyable then watching starwars the last screwup! what a spectator sport!

Just had one yesterday in group queue. Match begins and already several nitwits on our team are yelling at each. This is followed up by NINE out of 12 people on our team (none in my unit were thankfully involved) deciding to start killing each other?! The resulting 3 vs. 12 match didn't go well for us. It could have been worse, I guess. Ah, well - reported the clods and moved on.

I think only the "old school" understand what this means and why it is funny.
Doing this was actually quite some work:

Well we obviously killed each other and used heat deaths to speed things up.
"Some" people resisted though making everything a bit harder.
This was back when there was no team damage penalty system.

Till the end we were all laughing like crazy and had the best ghost drop ever.

Right after I posted this, we had a scouting match on Therma. Three HMM's and a Kit Fox against a Griffin (with a TAG and I think it was a Griffin?) and 3 BSW's. Well, we met and blew that absolute crap out of each other and all that was left was the Kit Fox with one small pulse laser (both legs orange) and the Griffin was stripped and everything was red or gone; no weapons.

The IS pilots decided that it was a draw and went off collecting Intel Points. The Kit Fox chased after for almost 6 minutes, not hitting a freaking thing nor getting any closer that max range of the IS mech: until the drop ship was called and then it became funny...... The Kit Fox couldn't hit crap and the Griffin decided to ram the Kit Fox and managed to destroy one leg of the Kit Fox (he was a good pilot)...... Finally, the Kit Fox hit a leg and destroyed it with 15 seconds left an both tried to get into the LZ. A cripples mech race. With 1 second to go, the Kit Fox got a toe in first............only because he was 6 feet closer at the start I think.... I swear, you could hear the cheering of the other side and the "Oh My GoD" sighs of frustration. Of course, the Kit Fox had no mic nor sound and was trying to type and shoot at the same time. What a comedy....

If seems the game is getting sillier by the moment? Are you experiencing some really goofy builds and game play??? I sure have and I'm just a Super Spud Potato and if I think something is amiss, well, it has to be pretty darn bad.....

Quickplay Escort on Alpine, I took my Rocket Launcher Urbie and went a'hunting. Snuck up on a Blackjack and insta-killed him and then solo'd a Rifleman before realising the team had ran into trouble. Ran back to the escort and it was 4 vs 2 as I arrived and my remaining team mates killed 1 more as I arrived, so I piled in and finished off 2 of them, but the remaining Commando managed to strip my gun side just after I legged him, but was left with 1 small laser. As we were near the Dropzone I decided to just be a pain and try to ram the bugger too death to try and slow him down as once the VIP was near the Dropship he would be lazored to death, however I hadn't noticed the VIP was stuck against the ridge and refused to move ... as the Commando ignored me and oh so slowly ... with a single small laser ... pew pewed the Vip to death ...

How my sides entire charlie lance managed to "sneak" up on canyon behind d4 middle enemys beta lance of assualts and heavies and one shot back hit them. 3 mechs dead in 15 seconds. They where so busy shooting at the lights v lights battle they never saw us.
oh the salt when my warhammer one shot a battle master in the back from 100m out, even the claim that we where cheating.
