When are we going to see the following things:
Size comparison to other 100 tonner assaults and smaller assaults
Quirks (these side torsos and legs are sure HUGE, big nono to light or XL engine).
I second the vote to up the max engine rating, at least for 1 or 2 variants. Hero mech should have it for sure.
Otherwise we won't see a single Fafnir in CW, because it's going to be to slow.
Unless maybe a sniper - but it's not a role for an assault mech.
So - Give us armor quirks, make it smaller than an Atlas and give us a 360 engine rating, at least for 1 or 2 variants i.e. hero and special variant.
Otherwise it's not worth spending money on it, as it is now.

Who else remembers this mission?:
My favorite dialogue of the mission is this:
Spectre: It looks like they finished arming those Fafnirs, this is going to be one hell of a fight!
Castle: Watch yourself sir, recovered data indicates those heavy gauss rifles are murderous within 600 meters.
Spectre: Yes, I read that and each of those Fafnirs mounts a pair of those things.

Do you want it with the unlimited ammo and invulnerability MW4 had too?

Damn the art looks good. I hope the torso missile launchers (if they have them) fire in a ring around the subwoofers. Anyway, I'm totally in on this one.

Fafnir suffers from Kodiak syndrome, this thing's going to need +40 armour in the torsos just to compete with the Annihilator. On top of that it can't mount as much firepower as the Anni cause the big hardpoints are all bunched together.
Purely a nostalgia mech like the Hellspawn and the Thanatos.

Flea...
Sad face.
I thought the same too, but alas. Well as long as PGI are pumping out nostalgia mechs from MW4, everything can happen. I thought we would never see the Cougar, very little buzz about that one, but look! We got that one. Same for the Fafnir, I had high doubts about it coming.

that... doesnt make sense. Any mech brought into the game can be used in FP, so if a mech from 3063 is brought into the game... the game must be at 3063

Ermm, I think its better that its "tighter". Making it broader would sure give it wider, ergo bigger hitboxes. Also convergence issues might aris, such is the case of the Nightstar, poor thing is destined to stay back as a long range fire support murderer. Closer and it easly shoot friendlies in the back due to the arms being all over the place if not aware enough of your surroundings.

Fafnir is not a Davion design. Its a Steiner"Thorhammer"MECH!
The "Davion pattern" should be replaced with the Steiner pattern.
