I would very much love a release of the Stinger and Wasp. Make them one mech, the variants with ballistics are called a stinger and the ones with missiles are called a wasp. Quirk them to be competitive.

But yeah, we’re not going to see these until and unless Harmony Gold has been properly sorted and given a time out in a corner.

Nah it would be better to just make a different head and copypaste as they are both the same chassis but with a different head.

Only ones on your list I'd spend money on are the Wasp and Stinger, if they look right.

Which means as mentioned above, they won't happen, until all the legal crap, is sorted out, if it ever is, because even if MWO win there is still the need for licencing from the parent company, so probably well after MW5merc's comes out.

We need a new 20-tonner. The Wasp/Stinger aren't happening to Harmony Gold. The Mercury is an omnimech so that probably won't happen. That leaves us with the Flea, the Hornet, and the Thorn. The Flea is easily the most popular and requested of those three. MASC was the biggest roadblock to its introduction, most likely the reason they went with the Locust as the first 20-tonner, and its been introduced. Like it or not but its the frontrunner right now.

Could end up having unique geometry for the weapon like the Hunchback does with the AC20.

Do we though? Locust has the 20 tonner spot pretty well covered.

If anything, we need a 25-tonner with a much different flavor than the current option (Commando). The Raptor is a great choice for that.

The Mercury is NOT an omnimech. It featured a modular weapon system that made replacing damaged parts easier and was a precursor to the omnimech. But it is not, itself, an omnimech. So the Mercury is still very much a contender.

The Mercury is not an Omnimech, yes it contained a modular system for ease of repairs, but it was not an omnimech. The first true Omnimech is the Coyotl, and she was devloped as an extension of the tech that was found in the Mercury.
