Both use Atlas-S with 4 SRM6+A and 1 AC/20 and dish it out on the caldera of caustic

If we're hoping to settle a debate of pilot skill then it seems required that both pilots have the same mech with the same loadout. If we add in chassis choice or build choice then we're undoubtedly going to end with questions of 'what if he would have brought...'

Even better idea. AC20 and a flamer on each chicken. This rules out the Huginn as an option.

way too kite-able, even on a small map, lct could use Stealth armor /ecm and you'll never see him.

They should probably just fight in whatever mech they like best. But the caviat is they have to argue some insane detail about why they think their right while fighting the match out.

Besides Locusts mostly run meds
To kite you have to out range the guy

You can shoot and scoot, but not kite wid meds

Trust me you dont wanna be near anyone in an assault mech wid guid aim and dual heavy gauss in a Locust or light mech

you can easly fit a erll on a lct and in the time frame of the match kill a cyclops. thats what im getting at.
