Looks nice. The mechs look a little too... plastic-like I guess? Not really sure what to call it, but it's especially obvious with the Raven picture. They look too "nice" and clean compared to the rest of the environment, which is beautiful.

They are very good but what ever texture map you used was definitely a little bit too clean. It needs some scratches, rust and dirt. You can find all kinds of texture maps online that should help. I would give you an example but I lost all my 3D art stuff to a computer crash.

looking awesome d(@_@)d
but the size of the raven is not big enough i guess.shoud be twice as high.
There are some pictures around that show a mech in proper scale to a human.

Well, after watching the Cryengine assets conversion tutorial, I managed to get a textured Ebon Jaguar in Blender, Pose it and then import it in Adobe dimensions for duplication, material editing and rendering. QUite some post processing in Photoshop CC afterwards for creating the final comp. Hope you like it, and thanks again, for all the feedback!

I'd be very wary of that top scale chart, it also lists the Atlas D and K at some ridiculous sizes as well. 100 tons and 24/26 meters tall? The things would walk on water.Posted Image

The original Battletech states that mechs are humanoid war machines (blah, blah) "standing 8 to 14 meters tall", so Atlas should be about 14 meters high and a locust or spider about 8 meters. I believe that the 24/26 meters tall mech is from...another movie-Pacific Rim maybe?

afaik the atlas weights only 100 tons because of the armor they use to that time is ultra lightweight.Imo i also think for that size and the way they are build (all the weapons, ammunition and structure) they shoud weigh at least 600 tons.

Interesting, but something is off and not sure what. Do you use HDRI maps as reflections? I suggest after finish rendering take both background and the mechs render add tint to each of them with same % and color .I dont remember how its in photoshop but in AE its simple soft tint to each of the images. I hope it helps.
