I am considering purchasing the Thunderbolt Mastery Pack. I have already bought the Catapults,Cataphracts and Stalkers. I now have 70+ days of Premium Time left. I hope to use my. Clan and IS Hero Mechs/Omnimechs to maximise my threadbare war chest.

Are these mechs good now? Any favorite builds?

The Top Dog is pretty good. I don’t own any of the others yet but they are on my shopping list. The Champion mech looks good, three LPL’s are pretty powerful and the chassis has decent heat management.

Good hunting,

Own both the 5SS and 9SE. While the two are no longer meta post Warhammer and Roughneck, both are still fun to play. The 9SE(c) is kinda vanilla out of the box but still has the best numbers in my personal states, the 5SS 7 pulse build is still murder in close range brawls. Both also have decent missile hard points if you love MRMs as much as Molten Metal.

Just got to remember to torso twist and shield. The Thud has broad shoulders snipers love to target.

The Thunderbolt is a fine heavy. That said is the pack worth $26 bucks? Why didn't you buy last month during the sales? I would just grind them for c-bills and pick up a Top Dog when it goes on sale. To me five million is pretty cheap for a mech.

Also what are you spending you c-bills on that you are impoverished? You have much premium time and multiple heroes.

I still have some real $$ allocated for MWO. Unfortunately I have blown through around 56 million C-Bills setting up 2 Cataphracts,2 Catapults,2 Stalkers,a Warhammer Black Widow, and a Supernova Broiler.
