[Lucky Moniker]

I read the upcoming patch notes in hopes there is something that will pull me back in...

but all it EVER is:

Nerfs to Clan tech further
Buffs to IS
new mechs (which can be cool) that i cant play for months unless i shell out cash (which is not cool)
cosmetic items.


nty i'll go back to staring at the walls waiting for a real game.

Funny, the last balance change involved nerfs and buffs to both sides.

new mechs and the fact you need to pay for them is exactly what keeps this game from becoming p2w grindfest. Lets appreciate that.

You mean to tell us that you now only come back to whine?

That you read some stuff and it puts you off so much that you don't actually see what the changes in game actually effect?

On top of that are you saying IS is OP? That you don't have a chance using clan mechs?

That clan mechs is your single concern and focus and the game for you hinges on playing only one side of the tech available?

Well, what on earth would make you think your absence would be of any concern?

This game doesn't need die hard clanners or spheroids. It needs people focused on the game being balanced and fair, meaning both techs being viable. That the clans are not winning every single match in CW is a great thing. That you see a good mix of tech in quick play is a great thing.

Balance will forever be a topic of concern in this and many other games. Losing someone who hasn't done anything other that read a page, and who clearly is only concerned with one half of the game, is not at all a bad thing. There are more than enough people to complain and cry in your place.

You staying away is probably doing the game a favour, so thank you.

Here's the upside of MWO being a F2P game.

You're at an oh so devastating disadvantage because you're <insert faction here>? Break your contract and switch to the other, OP side or just play the other faction's OP 'Mechs in QP. It doesn't cost you anything but a couple minutes in MWO's menus.

... might not work, though, if deep down you know that the other side actually isn't OP and you just want balance to be off in your favour.

Can I mock you and him you know because I have this Clan symbol under my name and under that this precious special snowflake founders symbol?
He is not returning player, just one of those players that have "quit" years ago and still have to come here and post s***.

If you watched MWO WC finals there wasn't many IS mechs around...

PS. Founders who have not bought anything after that founders pack are less value than anyone else who keeps there servers running by buying stuff.

Try playing the game before judging nerfs/buffs.

That said... you'll be waiting a long time.. this'll never be a "real" game.

Just something to tide us over until we get a real game released. Whether BT or MW5 Mercs.

lol you'd certainly think that based on all the uneducated lambasting going on.

The main issue with the Clam Apologists is that they don't actually understand the game nor the changes. So overall they are just blowing hot air around.
