Funny, the last balance change involved nerfs and buffs to both sides.

Then please show us the clan buffs in the January Patch notes. Posted Image

A nerf to the Assassin is an indirect buff to Clans.

LOL!
Can I mock you and him you know because I have this Clan symbol under my name and under that this precious special snowflake founders symbol?
He is not returning player, just one of those players that have "quit" years ago and still have to come here and post s***.

If you watched MWO WC finals there wasn't many IS mechs around...

PS. Founders who have not bought anything after that founders pack are less value than anyone else who keeps there servers running by buying stuff.

That is because the WC needs JJs, HIgh mounts, and long range.

Clans have the SMN, which got used a lot, but is pretty weak in general outside of a double PPC build.

You can't use the WC as a metric for balance, this game would be so much worse if they did.

As we know from Dakota's findings, the nerf to the assassin was actually a buff to the assassin because structure tree gives more hp and blah blah.

Therefore, a nerf to the assassin was an indirect nerf to clans.

Dakota's findings are flawed.

Therefore, still a buff to Clans.

I disagree, still a nerf to clans.

Actually nerf to the assassin was a indirect buff to all non-assassins and to all non-ASN-21 assassins.

Nah, that is PGIs way to avoid fixing the broken Hitboxes and Hitreg of the Assassin.

Find it hard to feel bad when we still need a tonnage difference to make up the difference in tech in FP. The fact we need that speaks to broken balance. When the imbalance is enough that we don't need it. Then you can complain about nerfs. But all the changes they've made and it's still rather obvious which side is better.

People said the same about the Artic Cheater.

Somebody let me know when...
  • PGI states that I.S. Mechs perform 8% than clan mechs
  • I.S. mechs have an 80% pick rate in comp play
  • The clans need an extra 25 tons in invasion and 5 tons in scouting to be competitive
  • 3 of the clan home worlds are surrounded by the I.S in faction play
  • PGI releases 3 I.S. mechs in the same year that when released are vastley superior to anything the clans have. *cough*Kodiak, night gyr,Maurader IIc*cough*
  • I.S. has an hero assault released that is the best mech in the game *cough*Deatstrike*cough*
Can't wait for that day. Then The Nerf Bat's job will be done.Posted Image

Indeed. Armour is king, structure is absolutely not a "want" over armour.

It is time to rise up ASN-23. Continue to mine the salty Clan Pilots who can't aim legs properly with your lovely armour quirks.
Or hell run 12 of the ECM ones... That'll cause some butt-clenching in FP from the Streakers.

Hey, did someone beat me to your stuff? If not, I want it.

Just be sure to give me a hose and a few air fresheners, don't want the cockpits smelling like tears and regret.

I read the upcoming patch notes in hopes there is something that will pull me back in...

but all it EVER is:

Nerfs to Clan tech further
Buffs to IS
new mechs (which can be cool) that i cant play for months unless i shell out cash (which is not cool)
cosmetic items.

nty i'll go back to staring at the walls waiting for a real game.

well you need to wise up
they been nerfing the Clans for years
and guess what it has not done anything

I built a 70 alpha shadow cat the other day for one of the challenges

its blatantly obvious its all a bunch of smoke and mirrors

Clans will still be kicking Butt 3 months after the patch

If you left the game, I suggest you never came back.. this game is like cigarettes.. it feels good while you ingest, but you smell bad afterwards, and it's slowly giving you health issues.. Also, once you're free of the addiction, it's unhealthy to go back..

You mean to tell us that you now only come back to whine?

Well, what on earth would make you think your absence would be of any concern?

Losing someone who hasn't done anything other that read a page, and who clearly is only concerned with one half of the game, is not at all a bad thing. There are more than enough people to complain and cry in your place.

You staying away is probably doing the game a favour, so thank you.

Wow. And we wonder why people are leaving? We need to work on out people skills and be grateful that people want to stay despite the toxic, ego centric behaviors some players have??? Do you fit that mold?

Anyone staying away does nothing but hurt the game.....even, if you disagree with everything a players says...... Retention is based on fun; not competition or status.....since, those apply to less that 15% of the player base in any F2P game. The 85% is where the continunity resides.....

Good grief.....

Which then begs the question: If the changes were hardly notable, then what was the point of spending very limited time, effort, money, and other developer resources on those instead of wisely spending them on something else?
