Well, I find this a welcome change. My thanks to PGI for restoring missing Scouting Tonnage on the Clan side. Now I might get to know why people liked the StormCrow versus the Griffin and ShadowHawk... Possibly even see if they're effective versus BushWacker Mechs. Maybe I should go Patch my MWO Install and get back In-Game...

Not gonna change things for me, the huntsman still has slightly more tonnage available for weapons, better hit boxes, and the agility edge from the jump jets. Also has a lot more hardpoints available if missiles are your thing. At best I may use the crow for gathering missions, but I'll stick to the hunter for defending missions.

The balance was broken with last "New Tech" release, when IS got ahead of Clan again, as every single CW event shown, with IS massively dominating Scout!

Now it tries to bring back balance.

And really made me consider purchasing a Black Lanner... if they had a (u)AC20 build...

BTW, I've seem most of my friends' units migrating from Clan to IS...

PGI have the numbers, but I doubt they will show, particularly after last CW events, and the bitter taste of being overwhelmed that a merc fighting for the Clan isn't used to!

Kind of hard to do a UAC/20 build on the Black Lanner, when it only has about 12.5t of pod space after some armour stripping....

With all the CW tech and new mechs on the IS side this was needed and overdue. Neither the Stormcrow, nor the Black Lanner, are better than the Bushwacker but this is a step in the right direction.

yea, that build really kicked my teeth in the first time I ran into it... afterwards I started to keep my distance from it... or just focused on getting the intel and running like hell.

Whiny clansmen ftw. Never mind that Clan has been dominating scouting for almost a month now. We need to get more Black Lanners sold. I am still of the thought that the disappointing Thanatos and Hellspawn builds might have more to do with the sales and that maybe better pilots might be what swings a certain side in scouting but meh.

Actually, every time I looked at the meter, Inner Sphere was dominating. Maybe it's a matter of Time Zone? Although, it's even worse that there has just been a constant flow of Inner Sphere taking worlds, and Clans not being able to hold or take them anymore. Now the current CW/FW/FP Season is going to get dragged out or something...
