hero sale - online
wad of mc saved up for several events - online
lack of clan hero mechs - online
all systems profitable

i mostly use heros for my drop deck to help farm additional cbills in fp. is side i got many heros, but very few on the clan side. got heros in the 30, 35, 50, 55, 65 and 100 ton brackets with the biggest gap in the 70-95 ton range. so im mostly looking at the jade kite, warrant, scorch, boiler, and nanuk, all in my budget. i tend to favor intermediate range laser and ballistics on the clan side. so which one is the best performer for use in an fp drop deck?

Buy 4 bandits, arm them with UAC10s or Gauss Rifles.

unfortunately those aren't on sale, i only have like 4428 mc stacked up. also not really a fan of the mad dog.

I just bought the Huntsman Hero, HMN-PA, on sale. Anyone has a good build? Hoping to run it with stock omies for a while to get a feel for what it can do.

It can murder enemy Lights, and Assassins, if you equip 4xSSRM4 + 4xSSRM2.

You said you've got 65-tonners, but even then I'd still recommend the Virago. +10% ER Laser range and -10% energy heat gen with four high energy hardpoints (and two lower ones) is amazing.

Honestly always good to get a Huntsman hero; good omnipods.

You could also do the kit fox hero, gives great omnipods as well to use.

i already have a hellby with a special tag in my drop deck. no quirks but its pretty deadly without them.

Picked up a warhammer black widow. Scorch was a close 2nd to grab. Commando seems like a can't lose deal for under 1k mc.

I had just enough for a Scorch. I'd just picked up a MAD-IIC in the last cbill sale, so it was on my mind- plus, I've always salivated over the dual LB20X+splat builds.
