Tag Vs Light Tag

What's the difference between Tag and Light Tag aside from range? Is there any? I can't seem to find the effects of Light Tag anywhere so far.

According to Smurfy, their special effects are identical. Just minus the range.

Only range difference. Light-tags are suitable for weapons such as Streaks and ATMs.
