Thanatos. All the way. It's my fault. Plenty of warnings about it. Even I knew the side torso's were suspect. But I generally like ECM heavies (even the ARC-T, and the HBR is one of my favs) and I thought, "for sure PGI has to give it some decent quirks".

Nope.

Fortunately I only bought the basic pack, but I think I've played about 5 games total in them. It's just not worth playing as is.

Vipers, now that the cSPL is dead and small lasers on both sides are the suck.

Huginn for sure though, at least the viper gets cXL, half weight mgs and heavy medium lasers to work with

These mechs marekd the end of buying anymore IS mechs for me. I really should have cancelled the preorder but decided that as I'd already spent the money I'd let it go and see what they were like.

Frankly they suck *** and with all the balance changes this year plus the total lack of build diversity amongst the different variants made me switch to clans.

The Fafnir will suck too, even more than the previous few mechpacks, fielding any of the recent IS mechs just makes you a liability to your team.

got it the sale before the engine-desync; it was fun to bring it in fw, though it tended to break the dropdeck.
was troublesome to bring it to QP because the non-existing teamplay in 9of10 games, still, in those rare situations you got your support while pushing, it was fun.

since the engine-desync though... useless. utterly useless. A LOT OF MC down the drain.
