Glad PGI finally got serious.
Great work merging classic Blood Asp design with Alex's panache for mech flair.
Got my sleeper Black Lanner, all is well in the world of MWO.
Now I have to come back and actually properly research the node system, A.K.A. blanket nerfs to increase TTK, to min/max these mechs.
PGI needs to get to work getting us the killer omnipods for Blood Asp and other clan mechs. They also need to reconsider which mech they assign the 30% C-Bill bonus as it is 100% wasted on the Prime variant.

The arms lasers are low mounted compared to the DS though it has better clustered Gauss. You can also do 2Gauss+3ERLL with the lasers all in one arm.
It brings a couple of interesting loadouts but overall, the MCII can offer more interesting and viable loadouts (GaussVomit, Scorch, and Dakka).

Such obviously protruding Gauss on the clearly defined STs can become bullet magnet. Especially since the cockpit is situated lower than the mounts so the mech can't really ridge poke without getting shot first. Deathstrike is much harder to disable, although it has no ECM.
Still, I think we found our new sniper overlord.

WHAT? No. The Deathstrike has 2 ERLL and 4 ER ML, and overall better hardpoint placement. This is not better than the Deathstrike.
