Hi All,

I like the look of the TMBR with the high torso square shoulder mounts. I changed out the omni pods on my C variant and cannot get the square shoulder mount look back. I even changed back to the C omnipods but to not avail. I can't figure it out. How do I get back to its original look?

Did you remove the LRMs?

'Cause that is the only thing that gave the shoulder pods their full look.

It originally had LRM-15s in there.
You can get slightly bigger ones with LRM-20s or slightly smaller with smaller launchers or other missile types.

Old picture but related.
Left is a Timber Wolf Prime with one S side torso, sporting twin LRM-20s.

On the right is a Timber Wolf C. It is equipped with two Streak SRM-6s.

Having checked, you can also get the same size back by using an ATM-9 or ATM-12 launcher.

My Prime currently.

My S config.

My other two Timber Wolves have been sold so I no longer own the C config. I kept the S due to the unique jumpjet in the CT. Kept the prime 'cause I can't sell it (and 30% cbill bonus). In hind sight if I wasn't so against laser vomit, I might have kept the C (C had the CT laser, right?). But meh.

You're welcome.

If you like the two launcher shoulders, S has what you're looking for (plus pre-installed jumpjets). There's another set of shoulders with two missile hardpoints without the jumpjets, too, but I can't recall which they are.

I use the S torso primarily for the ballistic hardpoint to sport 3 MGs in my prime (as the CT has the unique ballistic hardpoint, too).

The D variant.

The S variant has the Jumpjet in the CT, it's the Prime you're thinking of that has the ballistics hardpoint.

That's what I said.
(But the Prime has a side torso that lacks the ballistic hardpoint, thus I use the appropriate "S" side torso to replace the Prime side torso in order to get the third ballistic hardpoint to achieve this.)

No close range fighting til 4 minutes... bleh. Anyway meant to post the original video in which the Prime earned the name "777" by achieving 777 damage with my first (and still current) build as well as it being the very first time I ever used one.

Kon,

The Delta config of the Timberwolf also has a CT energy mount... I've got Delta pods on my Invasion variant in every spot but the CT, as I run a modified Delta build anyways...

They've added so many variants.
Lets see.
Prime.
Alpha
Beta
Gamma (C)
Delta
and.. Sigma, I think?

6:07 onward. Clan letters.
Just prior to that you will find MWO's Original and unreleased Betty (and Commander) voices.

Clans...heh.
Could be worse. They could use the IS letters.
Alpha Able.
Baker
Charlie
Dog
etc..

Op Point Able is mentioned at 20+ seconds. Baker sometime after another reference to a new op point Able.
Much more found in game, but I'm not gonna play it right this minute just to find them all.

Sierra, that's what they use for S.

Clans use the Greek alphabet for phonetics, you are thinking of the NATO phonetic alphabet rather than the Clans.
(Note to anyone reading this; this is literally just random lore and a bit of an over generalization, for example the IS alphabet stated is specifically only used by three of the major houses, with Kurita and Liao both using their own isolated phonetic lettering systems and Rassalhague being completely unknown as the group doesn't get that kind of development before it's absorbed into Clan Ghost Bear.)
NATO letters being:
Alpha (IS: Able) (Clan Alpha)
Bravo (IS Baker) (Clan Beta)
Charlie (IS Charlie) (Clan Gamma)
Delta (IS Dog) (Clan Delta)
Echo (...etc.)
Foxtrot
Golf
Hotel
India
Juliet
Kilo
Lima (Clan use Lamda)
Mike (Clan use Mu)
November (Clan use Nu)
Oscar (do not believe the Clans use Omega specifically for O but instead for Z; Zeta is used for another letter)
Romeo
Sierra
Tango
Uniform
Victor
Whiskey
X-ray
Yankee
and Zulu (Clan "Omega")
