I have to say, as a mainly IS player, it's refreshing to see the crows back in scouting.
With the higher speed with the affinity for splat boating, I see a lot more brawling now. Its much more interesting to see the different team synergies they try to bring to the field. Plus with it being landbound, I glad I'm seeing less of the pop tarting ATMs XD

looking forward to see what the lanner brings to he scouting table

When I'm on clan doing scouting we use the Stormcrows to kite. They're just a bit faster than Bushwackers and can run the good old 2HLL+6ERML laser alpha build to hit people over 400m away then just back up as needed. This way by the time any enemy gets into range they're usually on one shot HP and its the last guy.

Brawling a Bushwacker in a Stormcrow's suicidal with pilots being of equal skill. I kinda liked the old days of Griffin vs Stormcrow when it was balanced enough for brawls to be engaging rather than decided in the mechbay.

Those spike laser vomits are nasty when caught in the open without chance of using hard cover to block some dmg XD

Actually river city works great for it, forest too. Large open water areas on them are killing fields.

I rarely am recording, and I'm on IS for the week, so that'll have to wait.

Could give it a try yourself in the mean time. Its no different than Ice Ferret kiting except you have more firepower and armor and less speed, just got to be ontop of your game with the movement and accurate with your shots. With a more coordinated team you could get the focus fire really going and just delete a mech on sight with just two people shooting its CT.

I understand the mechanics, thanks. I just doubt its effectiveness on teams better then mazr. I'm sure you can kill many a scrub with it... but i want to see you beat comp players with it. Personally, I only brawl in scouting. I have no need to do it myself.

Hard pressed to find comp player teams in scouting to be honest, seems kiting them would be a way better option than trying to outbrawl them with IS having a massive advantage in that field compared to Clans.
