This does not surprise me at all. As I posted in other threads, there are far higher DPS weapons than the HGR for the tonnage. Hilariously enough, MRMs are among them, especially at the 400-500 meter mark. MRM 60 has higher DPS, the same ability to twist-n-shoot, and combined with a sword-n-board build (which 2x HGR cannot do), it makes sense that it would win out.

Having said that, experimentation in solo Q has proved to me that 2x HGR actually does pretty well in PUGs. Go figure.
