Thankfully haven't dropped in escort in a looong while now. Still wondering why it even exists, because the only way I ever dropped in this gamemode was when players either had no idea what this mode is (which was obvious as match turned out), or somebody lost a big multiplier bet.

Escort is played from time because *drumroll* some 1diots want to boost their vote modifiers for modes. I understand why people do it for maps but for modes it is beyond me

I can't play a mode where there's a distinct chance that large amounts of my guns (or others) are rendered useless by uncounterable ECM. And if it wasn't for that, I'd actually enjoy it.

Because Conquest is worth more C-bills than all other game modes, but isn't always popular depending on the time? Or maybe you want to boost your multiplier because the options are Skirmish or Escort and you know Skirmish will get picked. That way on another vote you can spend it on the other mode so you don't actually get stuck on Escort.

I quite like it,, as it annoys people who just like to shootzorz and hidezorz. If it frustrates those retrogrades, I'll save my votes just for that.

I like escort for decreasing game repetitiveness and throwing less predictable scenarios @ you where your team has to think and make decisions to formulate the correct response to win.
Its also amusing when the VIP reaches the end and people get taken down by the dropships weapons.
