Currently the games responce to a connection loss is to dump the player out of the game back to the login screen.

This is extremely awful programming.

The correct game responce to a dropped connection is to write connection loss across the middle of the screen in huge flashing letters and to look for a reconnection.

If you need for whatever reason to go through another login for some sort of security anti cheating reason then this should be done without leaving the match and the requirement for the entire game to be reloaded.

I would like to say it was a school boy error for you to have setup the game in this way to begin with, but i think its more likely that you actually sat down and thought about it and then consciously made the choice to do the exact opposite of what you should have done.

SUPPORT!!!

MWO's Client should always try to reconnect instead of flatly dumping you. This has been annoying since before I began playing, seeing various games and sites randomly dumping people unnecessarily. :(
