I believe the expression is that you have to be at least 10% smarter than your equipment...
Ball busting aside, I wouldn't mind seeing the Marauder II in game, but I doubt that will happen unless there is a favorable outcome in the HarmonyGold lawsuit. Would it bring anything new to the game? Eh... Marauder/Stalker hitboxes on a jumping 100 ton mech with Atlas speed... Could be interesting.

You're going to get them when PGI says you'll get them.... which is when PGI needs a quick mechpack and would like to recycle resources in a quick manner.

The Deimos is a 3085-era design, so no time soon. The Marauder II would be rather nice though, especially considering the thing has a variant with eleven missile hardpoints. Yes. Eleven. Plus 4 energy hardpoints. And jump-capable too for maximum dunk.

More Marauders? I think we need more Urbies and Mad Cats.
There's new IS Urbie variants for decades. But Urbie IIC yes please thankyou.

Can you explain what it brings to the table?
The least contribution would be nostalgia. I like 100 ton JJs. My Direwolves usually use S right and left Omnipods(JJs).

Debatable...

Plenty of pod space, but you're gonna run out of slots fast. Also holy crap look at all that hardwired equipment. The worst part is having ammo in your CT, normally that's okay but for AMS you probably won't get to use up that ammo (unless the red team has lots of Lurms) before your CT armor is gone and thus you will die from ammo splosions pretty often. Also same speed as a Dire Whale or Anni.

Maruader - 75 ton IS Mech
Maruader IIC - 85 ton Clan Mech
Marauder II - 100 ton IS Mech
Marauder II C - 100 ton Clan Mech
Would be fun.
More realistically though, never. Lawsuits and what not.
