I play part time, as I work full time. Keep track... Let's just see how all this pans out. You can dig all you want. You can't say I am above yet below average, LOL.
I'm pretty sure most people here appreciate that you're trying to help the OP.
However, what zergling has pointed out is right - your stats are below average, and that's nothing to be ashamed about. We were all potatoes in cockpits once upon a time.
Now i'm not saying this to stat shame you, but to let you know what your stats mean to other players. You did bring up your own stats and blew your own trumpet about being "top 200" after all.
Your sub 1.0 wlr across that many games actually means you help your team more when you DON'T PLAY than when you do. That's what a sub 1.0 wlr means. Your advice to the OP would actually make him a detriment to the team as well.
For example, things like swiping lasers across multiple.components is a TERRIBLY ineffective strategy. In mwo, we refer to ths as "light saber fights" or "searchlighting". It's one of the worst things to do in combat because splashed damage is ineffective damage. With a mech like the locust which is already so starved on tonnage and heat, light sabering means you're horribly ineffective because not only can you only fire 2 alphas before running off to cool for 10 seconds, you're not even delivering the damage from those 2 alphas to the component you need to be.
I don't think.i can stress how bad that is ib a mech as delicate as a locust. You're spending alot of time exposed to deal very ineffective damage.
