So, nothing new in quirks for Nighttrash... I mean, Trashystar... Ehh, Nightstar.

Anyway, that news sounds fine. Like Jonathan8883 wrote, it's a step in right direction.
Really small step.
But still - forward.

So is the JM6-A losing 10% of it's ballistic range? Because it's ballistic range quirk is 20% and the listed universal range quirk is 10%.

Also JM7-D when?

This.

I'm running 2xAC20s on that thing, that 10% difference would hurt.

Oh noes, not the poor BoomJager!

Quickdraw IV4 more precisely....

... which I play with MRM40+MRM20 anyway, because after racking up some intial heat with both, firing the single MRM40 yields more damage per heat (even with the current values), and it saves a ton Posted Image

You guys think ONLY 2 of the Victors are underperforming.....

That's the best damn joke I've heard this year. The last time I saw a Victor, I was piloting it because i lost a bet...

Victor-9S is one of the best assault brawlers there is right now.

Yes, but how does it work ?
While I think everyone, except the TKer's themselves, are very much for this new feature, what safe guards are in place to stop a genuine player that has a string of bad luck and sets it off.

Also is this a temp ban or a perma ban ?

Fantastic patch! Really nothing to complain about. Seems you indeed listen to us.

- Overall made micro, small lasers more useful. Much needed, on the right track. CHECK
Still C-Spl could use a 5 dmg though.. Just saying.

- Great change on the streaks! Lights have kinda hard time as it is, since your payout with using any tonnage bracket ( 20, 25 etc) of them is low unless very good at piloting them or in the right variant/ config.
Nice to see the streaks prioritize legs and arms less. Light pilots can be a bit safer, since for lights legs are life, legs are love and many of them have arm mounted weapons aswell.
While bigger mechs ussually strip their arms and legs to buff torso components more and so on. Streaks somewhat more useful against bigger mechs. Just dont make streaks go all out CT like long ago.
THAT was insane I've heard. Werent around that "streak" meta so i cant tell how painful that was.

- Finally the Thanatos can rest easier in greater durability thanks to shift to armor enchancements isntead.

- Nice to see the torso speed node got some love, to see the assaults turning their massive torsos just a little faster to keep up with speed demons.

Agreed. Among many other mechs, the Nighstar needs more durability. And UP the left toros harpoints in line with the right ones, PLEASE! Screw the left side view, need to focus fire anyway Posted Image

I remember having seen these trial mechs before.

They better come equipped with civil war tech or at least with adjusted loadouts different from the ones before.

My piranha will be happy with the laser changes, it might make micro-pulse viable to them.
Cougars seeing a slight heat buff, nice! It deserved that.

As for heat dissipation on a general comment: this 'tweak' is currently referring to the maximum engine size that is available to a mech. Wouldn't it be better to link this buff to the engines instead? So that a STD60 becomes useful too for urbies.

I mean, like nice changes? I don't feel this really changes the meta or deals with HL vomit, but it's good to see some fixes and a little help making lights and laser backup more viable.

Defo nearly all in the right direction, shame about MRM30s though.

Auto ban? Is that because the vast majority of in game reports go straight in the bin?

Oke some tweaks, good.

But why not improve functionallity to PARTS of your system/game.

Friendlist management, multi-select for remove etc.

Skill tree, take some crayon and colour it..
Also make it easier to select stuff to open, trouble some for the 91 point players

Almost never see that happen, but OK
Wonder how much you do go after more players that are not at all team orientated.

Ps: More push and always include team based prices will help as well and helps new players get into the team game/info

PS: oh yeah 1st time the quote system on this forum worked, on to the search system.

Sounds like a good plan, but PLEASE keep a close eye on it so that something unexpected won't happen from it's actions? The last time I saw a company implement ANY kind of Auto-Ban System, they didn't watch it and their implementation ran amok in the extreme. Posted Image

Remember, this "autoban" is programmed by the guys that brought you ghost heat. I think you can go ahead and start a betting pool on how badly this is going to work.

There is no matchmaker in FW. Tier 1 or Tier 30 doesn't matter. In fact, as far as PUG matches are concerned, it's "the better you are, the more potato weight you're required to carry."

Indeed, they are increasingly brazen these days.

Between the cheaters, griefers, and other really stupid things about this game, like having to pick the mech before the map in QP, and the horrific grind (and UI) since the Skill Tree, I've given up on this game insofar as it's not my go-to game when it's game time, and I'm not playing constructively anymore in an effort to improve. Dropped the great unit I was in, and just play for the lulz and the trolling now. Using a smurf account to stomp potatoes is the best thing this game has going for it at this point. Meh.

If it has a player report mechanism triggering the ban, it will be figured out and abused. The manual labor PGI has to perform to service this will wind up involving undoing erroneous bans and apologizing to paying customers. Not good.
