Just think of this pack as cbill boost Maddog + 6 regular mechs.

The other mechs are below average in terms of performance, and since performance = cbill earnings in this game, bad earnings + cbill bonus will at best give you a regular mech in terms of money making.

Even with hoverjets, I think you can easily do 50% better on average with the BNC3M

Reason I'm not going to be purchasing this pack. A little more variety in the builds would of been nice. I know these were set up for 1vs1 and 2vs2 combat but why would I purchase this when most of these mechs already exists in game?
I would of loved an atlas, firestarter and the Griffin but I kinda already own the same mechs already. Do I just sell my old ones for a C-bill boost and a "nice" paint job.

Cause as a Griffin fan boy, this would be the only reason I would buy it. But sadely only thing unique about is its name. Please give me a reason to buy it. Cause atm I will just wait untill you inject them into the game for c-bills. I can wait, I have time.

Well, since I am a fairly new player, out of the 7 mechs I only own the Mad-Dog and Urbie, and both aren't Hero mechs, so this $30 would be great value for me? So far I am still f2p, still thinking whether should I invest some $$ in the game, or at least once.

Could either do Atlas Banshee Urbie FS9 or Banshee/Atlas Rifleman Griffin Urbie/FS9

My preference would likely be Banshee Rifleman Griffin then choose the light depending on the map and game mode, even though that would leave me undertonned a bit.

I wrote a more lengthy response in this thread, but for the short version yes it's a great value but be prepared to spend c-bills to get the mechs upgraded to their full potential.

That's one of my main beefs with it. I don't really ever want to have another slow assault like an Atlas or Banshee because I gotta go fast, being able to just grab the Vulture and Urbie or whatever would be nice.

the urbie hero has a bigger engine, enough that I dig it, and more hard points would be kind of scary. I would like to see one more ballistic though. 2 is in the sweet spot of pointlessness. it'll either run one big gun or no guns at all.

The rifleman is kind of generic but VERY versatile

The atlas looks fine

The mad dog has an AMAZING center torso for cbill bonus play

Griffin and firestarter are super meh

The banshee is very much set up for 1v1, it'll suck in QP but will be a monster in 1v1.

Apart from the mad dog, look at these mechs from a 1v1 and 2v2 point of view and they make a lot more sense.

Also, seven C-bill bonus mechs for $30 is... pretty reasonable, even if they're mostly pretty average.

My only complaint is that I'm a clanner and I'm being given literally one (though it's easily the best mech in the pack and the new king of mad dogs) clan mech.

Having an extra ballistic hardpoint would make it a literally superior version of the R63 variant.

Here's my plan...sell the other 6 mechs for close to $10mill C-bills (about $20 value), have 6 open mech bays as a result ($9 value), and get some warhorns (about $7 value) and other swag on top of one great Mad Dog hero ($20 value similar to the Bandit hero). By my count, I'm still ahead even with only keeping the Mad Dog.

Hint; Its basically a modified Banshee 3S if you want to do testing.
