So our 1st wave got smashed by SRoT (that was a good push o7), and we decided to dunk the gens if they came out of the gate. They did, so we pushed through the other gate. Got all three gens down but Omega was super hidden than usual. :P

Does it appear the same to you guys?

I don't play FP much anymore, but it looks from your angle that the size of the Omega gen shrunk, due to "higher visibility"? Like, I was pretty sure there were some boxes at some distance behind it to reduce the visibility angle for you to directly shoot it.

Well that's different. I haven't played on Grim, or much at all in the past few weeks so I can't confirm.

3 weeks ago was my last I reckon and it was fine then.

Consider Emerald Tiaga as a comparison. There's some terrain (or was it some building obstacle) that makes it slightly more difficult to shoot from the lower angle - ideally, you'd be shooting from the terrain that's "level" with the objective. It's very similar in Grim Portico...

Problem is that the gen in grim portico is more tucked away compared to the other siege maps. if you look at how the gen is standing its way too low. Its been like that for ages since day 1 and PGI never had balls to fix it.

I dropped enough matches on Portico to know that Omega is not that low.

It's called PGI's way of nerfing gen rush :).

On a serious note it is definitely bugged out.

May your gate openers be fruitful in the future.

Friends don't let friends dunk the gens after only one failed wave.

Well, you're the one's who left them in the IS. Did you forget to pack them in your carry on when you came over to the clans? :D

The gen rush was not on our second wave and was a direct call from the way the enemy behaved...but thanks for commenting out of ignorance like you were there.

I don't mean to trigger you or anything but look at Bandito's original post.

First of all: Look at the picture - SRoT had killed 19 of your mechs. YOU might have been on your third or fourth mech, but as a team you were on your second wave (unless you have special waves that are less than 12 mechs each??)

Second:That is exactly how El Bandito typed it out how it happened.

Please forgive me for my ignorance.

BCMC doesn’t need evil to pick up anything for them, they run 12 mans almost full time. We are over here is side running 6-8 and still beating 12 mans, with the 1 exception of BCMC. Don’t drag us into your gen rushing.

BCMC is a great unit. I rarely see them in a 12 man though, and often they are with EVIL. Not a big deal, good players like to play with other good players. :D

As far as Gen rushing...if someone is going to super aggressively push out every time (Like I usually do when calling), one counter is to make it cost them. Even if you don't dunk it, the fact that you could have changes how they approach the next wave a lot of times. It's a good tactic, and a valid one. Usually you get to kill them one by one as they stagger back trying to defend too late. It evens out the kill score, and keeps them off balance.

If there is one thing BCMC can not do, it is to manage to run with constant 12 mans. I dunno how you got the idea, seeing how your units chased each other across factions for several past months.

*edit* Yep, you guys switched faction at the same time, again. At this time it is hard not to notice the pattern. Posted Image

You miss the action and attention Grus? I hear ya.

These forums have for months been filled by whiny children complaining about being beat up and the bullies taking their lunch money. Gone are the times where friendly banter and jesting and taunting ruled the day.

I simply retort to El Bandito by saying that he needs a 160+ man unit to feel safe. He isn't secure enough to wreck face with a small unit and drop at lance strength to carry the day! All bait fish swim together in large schools.

***Now before others (Apex) in MS get their panties in a wad - this is just friendly banter. I was a loyalist with Bandito long ago, way before you knew him as the god pilot of MS - he is a better pilot than I am - let us have our fun **** talking*****
