I'm just confused about this. was playing my alt account

Same mech, but once I noticed I make more for doing less, and I need the C-Bills and XP to skill up that mech, I'm now keeping my damage down.

or

is there something wrong here

showing also losses, which I expect them to be low

Spoiler

Well, you will get more XP on a win than on a loss. Also, damage is not the only metric to gain XP. For example, Kills and KMDD net you a good bunch of XP compared to just spreading damage all over your enemy team.

still something is wrong, in my eyes, 1st image and 4th image, you mean to say that 1 KMDD nets me more then 1k xp
this was just my recent match, more KMDD, and Damage as Image 4 & 5, but still less earned

To be honest, this game has quite strange match score calculation. I personally don't mind it much, as it doesn't really bother me in particular, but I don't think saying that system is unfair would be false.

Game score not being fully tied to damage and kills is actually a good thing, the bad thing is that it doesn't take into consideration many other actions of players and don't reward them appropriately. I had loads of matches where guy on light mech secured our victory by extremely efficient scouting, target call outs, marking enemies with NARCs/TAGs, UAVs, Strikes, great base/point capture and other kinds of objective/team play. But at the end of the match, player is at the bottom of scoreboard with no or insignificant damage = score. I run light mechs myself from time to time, and those are mostly scouts, so I'm pretty much in the same boat. When I get my usual Medium/Heavy combat mech out, that aren't really doing anything special, just keeping up with team, shuffling, getting kills, dpsing and etc, I get very high end match scores (considering we won), which is again - unfair.

only reason I brought this up, I felt like I used to make more, and now it seems a whole lot less.
I just don't recall taking so long to earn 1m C-Bills, and XP

thx for the link I'll look more into it tomorrow did take a glance at the scores earned, and now I see why my XP is/seems so low, this mech is a Ranged, and I stay out of Brawl range, and normally I'm Brawl, so yes, before I earn more XP because I just liked to Brawl, and Brawl gives the second best XP, top one being Solo kill

Damage just earns me C-Bills

again thank you for the link, gonna book mark that one

@OP
There are lots of ways to earn cash in a game. Sticking with your team-mates in a brawl repeatedly triggers many different cash-earning bonus items. I am sure someone can find you the link to all the ways to earn $$.

XP is based offa actions, not damage. Check that scroll bar on the right. Kills, assists, KMDDs, spotting, etc... These are what pay out. Damage is just a number to show what you've done. If you wanna understand your XP gain, read that section on the right.

thanks nehebkau
aware of that, I was at a lost how I was earning so little, less then before. but as stated earlier, after going to the link Reverend posted, I did a brief count what was showing in the image, and the thing was, I usually Brawl, which gives more XP, and on this pilot, I was strictly ranging it, it was the times I was in Brawl range, the XP was higher.

so Mystery solved for me.

gotta give a thanks again to Reverend for that link

yeah, as I've been trying to say, now, . (saw someone posted while I was in that last reply), that I understand now why I am seeing a lower earnings of XP and C-bills.
need to start narc and Tag killing if I want to make more C-Bills Posted Image, and in Brawl Range , while capping , and finishing it off with the KMDD, Solo kill Posted Image

Also, note your first win of the day in any mech gives you a x2 XP bonus. And premium time gives you 30% bonus on all matches.

Flanking also nets XP as does sticking with your lance. In general, sticking with your team earns you XP in auxiliary actions and usually allows you to win more often. You can also load up a BAP or CAP for anti-ECM bonuses or a UAV. There are a lot of small rewards like that. Your mileage will vary because which actions you get each match may vary quite considerably.
