Say to add DHS to legs so they work better in water but no IS mechs can fit DHS in their legs anymore...

Why are they called Double heat sinks if they take up three slots.. This game has become nonsensical.

In TT, double heat sinks literally sank twice as much heat as single heat sinks.

Loading screen tips could be updated/improved.
  • "If you're an assault and a light mech is attacking you, put your rear to a wall."
  • "Stick together, focus fire!"
  • "Press R to lock targets - information is ammunition!"
  • "Don't drink and pilot."

They could be just random stuff.
Quotes from Sulik of Fallout 2 would work fine.My favourite is "walk the quiet way and learn much".

They were still double heat sinks.

Yes. They were called double heat sinks because they sank double the heat.

Interesting is how well this applies to Fallout 4.

There's a LOT that you'd miss if you're discovered while roaming around the wastes...

Did you hear about the guy riding a pretend motorcycle and throwing rocks like they're hand grenades, making all the sounds with his mouth? Seems like this guy made it into Fallout 4... at least in raider conversations about him.

Double Heatsinks = 2 standard heatsinks, but take up more space. Canon.

But PGI didn't like cool running mechs, so DHS = 1.5 heatsinks, but take the space of 3 standard HS. You might have some leverage to get the criticals reduced there.

That tip doesn't specify DHS, it refers merely to 'heat sinks.'

The tip that needs changing the most is the one that says that destroying Alpha/Beta in Domination adds 15 seconds to the enemy's timer. It restores up to 15 seconds to it.

Other new loading screen tips might include:
  • Try to take high ground - if you sit in a bowl, the enemies will shoot down on you.
  • If you get hit with missiles, break line of sight and move behind cover.
  • Mechs come in different weight classes: Assaults can carry the most weapons and armour, but are slow.
  • Mechs come in different weight classes: Heavy mechs provide a good mix of firepower and speed, leaning towards firepower.
  • Mechs come in different weight classes: Medium mechs provide a good mix of firepower and speed, leaning towards speed.
  • Mechs come in different weight classes: Light mechs are the fastest, but carry the least equipment and armour.
Just the basic stuff that should be explained in an ingame tutorial.

Nonsense! If you drink and pilot you're guaranteed a better play experience. That's what any game developer wants, a better experience for everyone.

So it should be read like this:
  • "Drink responsibly."

May not play better but you definitely enjoy playing worse more.

Almost forgot a favorite:
  • Don't hunt squirrels - light mechs want to lure you away from your team and into theirs.

make this to
  • "don't drink and pilot UNLESS you run an urbie"
(had my best urbie-games while drunk. no idea, urbie is like drunken boxing: the more booze, the more damage done....)
