Don't want to riot, just going to show PGI that I disagree with this decision by not playing their free to play game. I play it because of CW and that's it. They take that away, even for a day, and I have no reason to play. It's called exercising your rights as a consumer and it's how companies become better...by meeting the demands of their customers.

That's a direct quote from Russ's twitter account posted 2days ago. So it appears between being bombarded here and on Twitter made a difference. As long as they stick to this........You just don't know with them......

And yet PGI has not made any announcement on THE MWO WEBSITE/FORUM that FP will continue running during the Solaris opening.

Maybe the idiot realised how much damage removing FP would have been to the populations, haha these devs.. I hope Solaris bombs.

Russ has done the usual back-flip. Did it over a week ago, on twitter, as usual. There will not be an officail communication on MWO website. There rarely is.

Either way - FP will not be shutting down.

Thankfully out voice was heard, this time.


Pity it wasn't over FP3.0 before the mode lost 1,000s of players and many units

look, I don't like the idea of this new game mode for a number of reasons.. but options are nice to have. That being said there's no reason other than to force us to play with the new shinny for FP to be shut down. Do I want this investment of time and money to fail? Not really because it might prevent them from making a cooler game mode down the road.but if I you do see me in it, it will be in a 100% cheese build.
