Id like to see the Naga, Catapult C3, and possibly the Thunderhawk.

add arrow IV to the game for those mechs as a hardwired weapon system

id also like to see a Naga with 8 missile hardpoints and most of the existing catapults updated to 8 hardpoints

The last thing we need is more new mechs that dont add anything new in terms of gameplay.

Arrow 4 should be available on turrets if PGI will not add vehicles as AI. The Highlander does need some buffs as do jjs for assaults as well. New Mechs should add new tech or something useful.

yeah I mean the first step is getting ARROWIV into the game. if certain gamemodes had an ARROWIV turret with a limited number of missiles it would make bringing TAG more interesting. ARROWIV should require you to constantly keep the target tagged in order for the missile tracking to be enabled.

the second step is adding mechs that can use ARROWIV. Naga for clans and Catapult-C3 for IS are the two most obvious candidates.

But were at the point where new mechs really need to add something new to the game. Otherwise its just more of the same, or worse, its power creep.

like the solaris 7 mechs... most of them bring nothing new to the game. only the maddog adds anything new really. the rest of them are just the same old mechs we already own with insignificant hardpoint differences.

I agree 100% new mechs for the sake of new usually accomplishes nothing useful. New Tech does wonders Arrow lV,Light ACs,and PPC Capacitors would add to the game.

Yeah I tried to pick mechs that are different from anything at or near their tonnage.

Solitaire or Stone Rhinos would be nice. MASC with 200kph would be pretty good.

I'd like to use all those mechs that collect dust right now instead of new ones, to be blunt.

slap some quirks onto mechs nobody uses and go from there.
are they overused in a week, roll a bit back on the quirkmadness.
still not used? slap some more quirks onto it.
sorry, but this is no rocket-science, the balance-speed is not on a snails level, it's more on tectonic speedlevels.
without good reason.

give "the classic" mechs some love. after that, I'll happily buy a mechpack if it brings fresh ideas (which it really should).
except for Crusader and UrbieIIC ofc, which I will buy no matter what Posted Image

But the people doing balance aren't the ones making mechs but I'd like them to buff the weaker mechs too.

I never heard of most of those mechs in the OP which is probably why we never got them, and I played all the MechWarriors, Mechcommander Gold, and even Crescent Hawks. I also havent heard of some of the mechs that have come out the last year or so, like the Piranha, Hellspawn, and Black Lanner to name a few.

Game already has too many 'mechs to the point establishing their proper pecking orders is just a growing backlog for PGI. Maybe PGI doesn't think so but thats what it feels like.

I mean, sure everyone has their favorite mech that isnt in the game... but, at this point its kind of hard for a new 'mech to differentiate unless its just straight up power creep or what we have.

It's not that hard to find a mech that's different really. Maybe no new roles to fill but some mechs bring things to the table that we didn't have before at a certain tonnage or for one faction or the other.

Still, the purpose isn't to talk about mechs that everyone has heard of but rather to introduce chassis.

Most of the lights.

When they're as tall as a 50 ton mech you know something is very wrong.

Lol it already has tons of votes but honestly it would be one of the worst mechs ever released unless it got the strongest quirks in game and honestly a reliance on quirks is just a bad idea.
