zombie has not been a viable tactic in years for mediums. If I can shoot your legs you are going to die. An ac-20 and two mplas is in no way terrifying build. A larger alpha will beat you into ground every time. I hope you are not bringing Wangs to scouting because their limitations will be made abundantly clear to you. Also if a mech is inherently cool it is sign of insuffient firepower. Trigger discipline and cool shots are sufficient checks on melt down.

IS medium Heroes are not worth it because the C-Bills variants do better e.g. ASN-21, CRB-27B, BSWs, missile cooldown quirked WVR/TBT. The only one that is barely worth it is the Enforcer Hero for **** and giggles with Stealth.

dont have any medium clan heros, 3 specials but no heros. is side i think my favorite hero is the high roller. but any bushie is good.

I don't recommend it, I have it and it can do 2RAC5s+lasers fine, but you have to go XL with any ballistics build and from the side it's easy to side torso. Much much better to just go with a Warhammer esp in FP (3 heavy and light/assassin)

I have a Warhammer Black Widow that does ballistic,energy,and one missle really well.

I have acquired but not outfitted a Griffin 2N for use in scouting for FP.

In the medium class I would recommend the huntsmen pakhet for clans, and the enforcer ghilli for IS. Really hero mechs don’t shine is side until you get to the QuickDraw, top dog, black widow.

Do note that not all variants can do builds which are good in FP.
Also omnimechs can use any variant of a chassis and just switch pods to get the ECM (e.g. HBR-A using HBR-Prime torso).


I do fully agree with "BSW-HR good, ASN-DD bad", but BSW-P1 is still better for scouting.
