I'm not a new player and I already have a list, but I guess this might also help new players.
And I'm sure I've overlooked a few variants.

Can you help me complete the list?
(List last updated 18.05.2018)

(for omnimechs, I'll only count the variants which come with ECM - ofc, all other variants can be pod swapped into having ECM)

On ECM usage:
ECM makes you not show a red triangle (targeting dorito) above you head when the enemy is too far away. This makes you harder to see and prevents the enemy from getting target locks on you.
Within the distance, enemies can target you normally and "ECM" shows up near your dorito.
ECm also hides teammates within 90m of an ECm equipped mech.
The distance of ECM protection depends on skill points invested in the sensors tree:

yes,
ECM used to hide your mech up to 0.75(75% of Enemies Radar Distance or 200m)
which meant that at 200m or below enemies could see you as if you didnt have ECM,

the new base is 0.30(30%) which is 560m(under this enemies can see you)
with 1ECM-Node 0.52ish(52ish%) which is 382m(under this enemies can see you)
with both ECM-Node 0.75ish(75%) which is 200m Again(under this enemies can see you)

So, it is best to skill both ECM nodes on a mech equipped with ECM to get the most out of this equipment.

Do note that ECM is required for Inner Sphere mechs to be able to equip stealth armour.

Edit: added in variants mentioned by Zh0u, Horseman, Dragonfighter19, CoffeeKitty, Gluten

He's not talking about dumbfire.
ECM works by reducing the range at which enemy sensors detect your presence - that reduction is relative to enemy sensor range and depends on the ECM skills you purchased in the Sensors tree.
Without ECM skills, your ECM only reduces enemy sensor range by 30%, meaning you can be locked from as far away as 560m (this is with an enemy who doesn't have any sensor range buffs, mind you).

Always up full ECM skills in an ECM mech. If not, it just defeats the purpose of having ECM. :)

Thank you everyone.

Is there any variant I missed?

Black Lanner is already in.

Looking at the Kit Fox, the KFX-G left arm and KFX-C right arm both provide an ECM hardpoint - can you equip more than one ECM? Does it give any advantage?

Only one ECM.
G left arm allows you to use PRIME right arm (if for some reason you had a build that made good use of that). There's also a bit of psych advantage for frankenbuilds - other players see an ECM KFX, they may assume they should target your RA (especially if you use C's RA and stick AMS there)

Moving the ECM to the other arm is indeed a nice build trick if you're going for AMS.

Thank you.

I don't have any of those and probably won't anytime soon. I have bought many IS Mech Bundles and a Standard Clan Pack of Linebackers.
