First wave of Steam performance packs release: 10 Dec, 2015
Second wave of Steam performance packs release: 23 Nov, 2016
Third wave of Steam performance packs release: ?

Seriously, 18 packs came and gone c-bill, yet steam gets no cookie. I mean come on!

I second this. I like the steam packs and have been hoping for a 3rd wave.

Do not hold you breath with this........MWO is on a slippery slope and I'd bet Steam is wondering where it's gonna go based on their internal metrics....

MWO has already lost most of its players that were going to leave

the only players left are the ones that probably wont leave

so the player numbers have actually stabilized

They need to make the steam packs for new players, to help them early on.

Or just leave it as is and add 91 nodes per mech so they can not only change out the build if they wanted but skill it how they want too. Essentially 2 mastered mechs so new players can jump in without starting out behind while also giving them a choice on how they want to master it in addition to the goodies it already comes with.

The problem I have found is new members on their first few mechs always stuff up skill tree and then are even further behind the grind due to mistakes made.

Give them a good mech and skill tree from the start and they can change it if they want.

Quite a few mechs from the current packs are good mechs. So there's that requirement met. They may not be top of the line meta builds, but they're still decent.

Ebon Jaguar EBJ-PRIME is the only good mech in the packs ( Ver 2)

ZEU 6T
PNT 10K
TDR 9SE

Just to name a few of the less than stellar choices you get with the steam packs.

Panther i can agree with, kinda meh. Thunderbolt is good enough, same with Zeus. I actually kind of like the 6T, it's a good brawler with Snubs and SRMs.

Jagermech and Hellbringer
Warhammer and Summoner
Orion and Orion IIC
Dragon and Linebacker
Catapult and Maddog

Assaults
Annihilator and Mad Cat Mk2
Atlas and Kodiak
Cyclops and Gargoyle
Mauler and Supernova

With setups made by Kanajashi

I read some rumours about new packs in April.

No idea why they come delayed this year.

Sorry for necroing but what caused rumors about the new steam performance packs? As far as I know, only Solaris 7 will appear on Steam.
