I tried getting a hold of you several times, but to no avail.
Still, I cherish our old games.

That would be me, unless someone has swooped in and replaced me with an alien robot and is posting under my name to throw off the authorities... Naw, pretty sure it's me.

You know, for all that people knock it, the Battletech show was more faithful to the source material than the hilarious Heavy Gear cartoon...

But it was my first real introduction to Battletech (even before the Mechwarrior games) so it still holds a place near and dear to my heart.
Some day I'll get around to buying and painting the rest of the strikers, along with Star Captain Kristen Redmond, and Star Commanders Pytor and Natalya.

Two 3039 Kurita lances, ready to burn the Suns.
I later added some antennae, but haven't got good pics of them since.

I had read bad large flat brushes, but I wanted to try to paint something after three years of no mini painting (I use paint Space Marines and Dark Elder for 40k)

Awww, he want's to be your friend!
check out http://camospecs.com/ for some painting tutorials, and a various paint schemes for all sorts of BT units. they really helped me out quite a bit. (you DO NOT want to see what my Sisters of Battle looked like back when i started with 40k... ugh. now that i have proper brushes and a plan for each mini, things are much better)
