i count the kraken prime as "unseen" for he violates constuction rules. per rule every weapon has to be bought with ONE (exept MGs) ton ammo at least. 10 uac 2 with 4 tons of ammo would be useless under regular rules. they are invented to PREVENT things like this for a reason...

You do realize that those 4 tons of UAC-2 ammo total 180 rounds, right? That's 18 rounds per weapon (or 9 turns at double fire rate). Considering many AC/10, AC/20, Gauss Rifles and Arrow IV systems tend to have 5-10 shots for their weapons I don't see the problem. Also, mechs have routinely carried less than 1 ton/weapon. Just look at the AC/2s on the Jagermech....

Probable Jagermech Variants:
JM6-S - 2x AC/5, 2x AC/2, 2x MLas (3025 tech)
--- RA/LA - 2x B
--- RT/LT - 1x E
JM6-A - 2x AC/5, 2x LRM-15, 2x MLas (3025 tech)
--- RA/LA - 1x B, 1x M
--- RT/LT - 1x E

Possible Variants
JM6-D3 Jagermech III - 2x UAC-2, 2x PPC, 2x MLas (3058 tech, XL, DHS, FF)

--- RA/LA - 1x B, 1x E
--- RT/LT - 1x E
JM6-DD 2x UAC-5, 2x AC/2, 2x MPLas (3050 tech, CASE, FF)

--- RA/LA - 2x B
--- RT/LT - 1x E
JM6-DG 2x Gauss Rifle, 2x ER MLas (3050 tech)

--- RA/LA - 1x B
--- RT/LT - 1x E

The next closest Jagermech variants all have something a little off for inclusion in MWO. The D3 won't be invented for ~8 years and looks like a reversed CPLT-K2. The JM6-DD and JM6-DG would both seem to be the same or worse than the JM6-S.

FYI Jagermech in MechCommander is one of the JM7 variants (probably a JM7-D)

I don't remember a rule saying that each weapon had to have a ton of ammo, because if that were true, many of the mechs would not be allowed. For example the Jagermech only has 1 ton of AC-2 Ammo with 2 Ac-2 cannons.

On a side note, is it me or does the Jaegermech look more like the old Rifleman anit air mech than the illustrations of the Jaegermech that I have seen in the various design books?

Still, cool design though.

As far as putting the weapons into the arms rather than the torso, I've usually been a proponent of putting my main weapondry into the torso for protection and secondary into the arms. This being to prevent loosing the main punch when the arms get blown off.

Dream mech:

There was a 2AX variant with the HEAVY gauss rifles that was 'experimental'.

I miss my Annie O from tabletop... but they move like pregnant yaks!

But there's 45 shots with that one ton of ammo...

While the Atlas usually has a single AC20 or Gauss, it actually does have two Ballistic hardpoints, but eh.

I'm new to MW and i was wondering if there had been a mech announced that has a bunch of em'..

I'm not a pewpewpew "laaaaazer" guy

or one with like 4 rocket pods B)?

The Jagermech is the most likely suspect here. Lots of missile pods goes to the Catapult. Both are 65-ton 'Mechs, the latter with jump capacity.

10 uAC/2 with 4 tons of ammo is NOT illegal neither useless. Have you seen how many shts has 1 ton of AC/2 ammo?

Gendo, this rule has never existed. There's plenty of designs that have fewer tons of ammo than weapons that use it- most frequently multiple small SRM or LRM racks that share a single ton of munitions.

The DD and DG will probably have more energy hardpoints, for making them different. I bet the DG would have like 2 ballistic hardpoints and 4 energy hardpoints.

I to am fond of ballistic weapons. I guess I just like watching the armor fly when its hit. The jager looks like the best bet right now.
