Yeah same, no SNS/RGH hero mechs injected.

I was rather expecting something like this. After all, we're dealing with a third-tier game company that's barely more than some dudes in a garage somewhere. PGI is doing good by just not hosing their own servers every other week.

I was in desertion phase 3 days remaining at patch time, I am still showing as loyalist with 3 days desertion remaining, the break loyalty button has become active again under contracts tab, but when I click it and click agree to break loyalty I get "Unable to abandon faction. Only loyalists can abandon faction". If I try to go straight to selecting a new faction it shows cannot pledge loyalty, currently deserting from another faction.

The desertion penalty is no longer applied when you break loyalty. This doesn't necessarily mean that existing desertion penalties would be removed. While they may not have intended for this to be any different, it would require separate coding.

UPDATE!

Alright the injection process is now complete so all eligible accounts should have the December 27th Hero 'Mechs!

I think it works with breaking loyalty, if not waiting a week is what it is about.

I guess if you were in the desertion period will have to just wait it out for the last time

Hmm yeah looking into it here, it seems like folks who had broken a contract and were in the desertion phase prior to the patch are still in desertion. We're looking into a fix for this right now as we should have one up fairly quickly. In the meantime here I was able to manually reset your status here so you shouldn't be in Desertion any longer

Yeah, after patching I noticed the new Heroes missing as well. Checked the forums, saw no answers yet. So, I went to Twitter, no answers there, but saw NGNG was streaming. Popped into the NGNG stream, saw that PGI was aware of it and working on it, so I knew to expect them injected into my account soon. And they have been. Already kitted them out and mastered with GSP (still have over 3k GSP left).

Haven't played either mech in live matches yet, but the SunSpider has promise. Kitted it with 4xSRM4, 2xUAC5, and a HLL; it tore through my usual testing ground routine really fast.

We've actually just fixed this so there now shouldn't be anyone stuck in the desertion phase.
If for any reason someone is still stuck in desertion, or if you hear someone else is still stuck in desertion, please let them know to contact support as we should be able to get this sorted out for them

So just curious...I am at work and cannot check in-game for a few hours to see if the 2 hero mechs were injected. I do notice that NOW when I go to check the eligibility I only see the 2017 supporter skins awards...( it used to show I was eligible for the hero mechs ( which I am ) also).

I guess there is no way to check until I can actually launch the client when I get home? ( I checked my profile but it doesn't show them yet)
