The only thing worse than having Escort as one of your game mode selections is having both Escort and Incursion be the choices.

Can we just make it better?
What if the VIP was one of those experimental super heavies, only with a ridiculous loadout, ams, and ecm?
The mode wouldn't suck as much if the VIP had enough teeth to take down a light pack or a couple of mediums.

This is the absolute WORST game mode ever added to the game. It was broken when it came out, its still broken now.
Laughable "A.I. pathing", is only the tip of the iceberg.
The maps this game mode is allowed on are probably the worst matchup from any game mode/map combination, and it always devolves into people ignoring the objective and doing 'skirmish' anyway, unless the VIP mech decides to march straight into enemy forces. And that "never happens" :-/
If your hell bent on keeping this craptastic game mode as an option, you need to make it so that one PLAYER is the VIP, with no weapons, but can actually pilot the thing. if you're worried that someone is going to troll the team when they're VIP, well at least that was an individuals decision [and can be reported] instead of simply terrible, lackluster, and broken A.I. programming.
