My unit, the 13th Oriente Hussars of the FWLM, has one active duty member (U.S. Army), three other U.S. Army combat vets, a formerly active duty Marine, and a Navy vet.

SPC4 - Vet, Active Army 1989-1993
31M10 Multichannel Communications Systems Operator (UHF/VHF, crosstrained into Tropo, Sat and switch operations, forget MOS's though)

Basic - Ft. Jackson, Columbia SC
AIT - Ft. Gordon, Augusta GA
PDS - 97th Signal Battalion, Coleman Barracks, Mannheim Germany (2x Tours)

Coleman Barracks closed some years after I left, 97th Sig was redesignated as 414th Signal and have no idea where they went after the base closing.
